Last month a leaked Best Buy document claimed that the Android 4.0 upgrades for the HTC Rezound, Motorola DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX would hit in early April. Ever since those dates came and went with no Ice Cream Sandwich treats in sight, though, owners of those devices have been wondering where their 4.0 upgrades are at. According to some purported internal Verizon docs that have been posted to Reddit, they're still in testing. The images come from person claiming to work for Verizon "in some capacity" and show that the ICS upgrade for the Rezound is in testing until May 7th and could push out on May 9th, with the RAZR and RAZR MAXX updates undergoing testing until May 17th with a roll out that could follow on May 21st. It's also alleged that the 3G/4G XOOM ICS updates wrapped up on April 19th but still needs to receive technical approval.

Other screenshots posted by the Verizon employee show that there are regular software updates in the works for a number of Big Red's other handsets, including the ThunderBolt, Revolution, Bionic, Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Bold 9930. The updates for those devices are scheduled to be in testing until early or mid-May and could begin pushing out a couple of days after testing wraps up. However, there's no mention of exactly what tweaks or fixes these updates may contain.

So there you go, Verizon folk. While there's not much information on the contents of all of these software updates (save for ICS for the Rezound, RAZRs and XOOMs), at least owners of these various Verizon devices may now have an idea of when their next batch of new software may arrive.
