Excited about C Spire's upcoming 4G LTE network? Then you'll be glad to hear that the carrier plans to offer a "full suite of devices" when the network goes live in September. C Spire CEO Hu Meena dropped the word at the Rural Cellular Association's Competitive Carriers Global Expo, although the bad news is that he didn't offer up any more details on what kinds of products we can expect to see once September rolls around.
C Spire has said that it's initial LTE rollout is expected to cover 1.2 million people in 20 Mississippi markets, so it's good to hear that the operator is working to offer a nice selection of LTE devices to customers in those areas. Of course, we don't yet know exactly what those products will be, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a USB stick or hotspot included, and I'm sure C Spire is working to secure an LTE handset and perhaps a tablet as well. Once we get word on exactly which LTE devices C Spire plans to offer, we'll be sure to pass along the details. Stay tuned!
