Good news for AT&T customers in Indiana and Texas this morning, as the carrier has announced that it'll be bringing its 4G LTE coverage to select markets in those states on Sunday, April 8th. AT&T has revealed that customers in Bloomington and Muncie, Ind. and Bryan-College Station, Texas will be joining its LTE family this weekend. All of the official press releases announcing the news can be found at the source link below.
AT&T last month revealed 12 markets that it plans to roll its LTE coverage to, a list that included the aforementioned Indiana and Texas cities. However, at the time AT&T didn't provide exact dates that the rollouts would be happening, saying only that the launches have been scheduled for "April, May and into the early summer." We're still waiting to hear from AT&T when the other 9 markets will also be getting in on the LTE fun, but for now the residents of Bloomington, Muncie and Bryan-College Station can celebrate the fact that they'll have a shiny new LTE network to hop onto in less than a week. Any of you out there live in one of those three cities?
