Remaining the people's favorite device in our weekly Official Smartphone Rankings, the Samsung Galaxy Note ran away with the votes. Letting us know why it is his go to device, today's featured user review of the Note comes to us from Steven Pereira. Here is what he had to say:
April 2, 2012 Yes, it's big. But, oh, what it does!
I purchased a Galaxy Note the day after it launched...and I haven't looked back since. Yes, it is a monster phone and using it one-handed is pretty much out of the question, but I don't know if I really ever did anyting beyond making a call with one hand. Texting, gaming and the rest...always with two hands. And now with the screen being so large (and the phone being so thin and light) everything I do on my phone is more fun and easier.
After owning the phone for a little over a month I have to tell you it no longer feels large. It's super fast and powerful enough that I rarely find myself using my laptop for anything other than gaming. The S Note app is a lifesaver! I must use it ten times a day. The drawing feature isn't one that I use all the time, but I'll tell you...it was cool to be able to take a pic of my fore arm (where I want a tattoo) and to be able to actually DRAW what I'd like to have done, right on the image of my arm. Sounds silly, but the applications for this kind of app really are endless. The battery life was disapointing the first few days...but after being drained and charged a few times thats no longer a problem. I usually have between 25 and 40 percent left at the end of a normal day (with texts, emails, and browsing the web). This phone is all around fantastic! With tech I always feel a little let down after I become familiar with a product...bored, really. Now, each day I seem to find another way to use my phone. LOVE IT!
