Earlier this morning, we learned about a new HTC-made Android handset that's reportedly headed for AT&T's shelves as the Congressional. Now it's time for the Verizon folks to get in on the leaked HTC device fun. A leaked photo sent to Droid-Life has revealed that a product dubbed the "HTC Fireball" has entered Verizon's internal systems, complete with the model number ADR6410L that would slot it in between the likes of the Rezound (ADR6425) and ThunderBolt (ADR6400). Unfortunately, the only other information that this image gives us about the Fireball is that it's packing 4G LTE connectivity.
In other leaked Verizon news, a separate document posted over at Droid-Life shows that the oft-leaked Motorola DROID 4 is still on track to hit stores on December 22nd, a date that we were first tipped to back at the beginning of December. The image also shows that a ZTE 890 Mobile Hotspot device is slated to launch on January 12th.
As with all launch dates that don't come straight from a carrier or manufacturer, it's probably wise to take this one for the DROID 4 with a grain of salt. After all, if there's one thing we learned from the whole Galaxy Nexus debacle, it's that leaked release dates can and do change. Meanwhile, the HTC Fireball listing is interesting not only because it's a new 4G device, but also because there's not much we know about it yet. Will it be another full-touch handset? Or will it pack a keyboard instead? The answers to those questions remain a mystery, but don't be scared to leave your own thoughts, opinions, hopes and dreams about the Fireball in the comments below.
