It was just a couple of weeks ago that the Motorola DROID 4 made headlines for the very first time thanks to a batch of leaked photos, but today the 4G LTE slider at it once again. This time the folks at Droid-Life have gotten hold of a pair of images showing that the DROID 4 has popped up in Verizon's internal systems and its device manager. There's not much in the way of hard information on the D4 to be gleaned from the images, but they do reaffirm that the DROID 4 will indeed pack 4G LTE connectivity.
The question on everyone's mind is, "Just when might the DROID 4 be launching?" There's still no definitive answer to that question, but the fact that the D4 is already making the rounds in Verizon's systems suggests that a release may be coming sooner than most of us had expected. For example, we saw the HTC Rezound show up in Verizon's computers in mid-October and now we know that it's set to launch just a hair over a month later. We'll keep a close eye on this one and let you know when we hear more.
