Last Friday U.S. Cellular gave us an update on its shiny new 4G LTE network, saying that it was ready to go and that devices capable of using that network were being ahead of their Q1 2012 launch. U.S. Cellular still hasn't specified precisely which LTE-capable devices it'll be offering, but if a leaked image sent to Phandroid is to be believed, Android fans on USCC could be a couple of nice options when it comes time to buy a new device. As you can see up above, there's a 4G tablet that's obviously the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 on the far right. Things get interesting when you move one spot over to the left, as a 4G handset that looks an awful lot like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is present.
Obviously that black slab sitting atop the "New 4G Smartphone" label isn't quite as easy to identify as the Tab 10.1 and its silver accent, but we can make out what looks to be an earpiece sitting closer to the top of the device than the display, which resembles the layout of the Galaxy Nexus's face. This wouldn't be the first time we've seen a device make the jump from Verizon to U.S. Cellular, and the GalNex could be a good handset to help celebrate the launch of USCC's LTE network. Of course nothing's official just yet, so for the time being U.S. Cellular customers should probably just sit tight and hope that, if given the opportunity, the carrier wouldn't pass on the Galaxy Nexus like it did the iPhone.
