Heads up, Verizon customers: you've got another new BlackBerry 7 handset headed your way. Verizon just announced that its BlackBerry Torch 9850 will be available online starting September 8th for $199.99 with a two-year contract. Those of you that prefer to go the in-store route can expect to see the Torch 9850 hit Verizon's brick and mortar locations one week later on September 15th. Last month saw Verizon launch its first BlackBerry 7-powered smartphone in the Bold 9930, but it's good to see another of RIM's new handsets hit Big Red, especially for folks that would rather have an all-touch device (no matter how much Aaron keeps raving about the 9930's keyboard). As far as specs go, the 9850 is packing a 3.7-inch 800x480 display, 1.2GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, 720p HD video capture, 16GB microSD card preinstalled, and BlackBerry 7, the latest version of RIM's BlackBerry operating system. Go ahead and do a little happy dance in the comments below if you're planning on snagging Verizon's Torch 9850 later this week. Just know that we're known to pull a pretty mean lawnmower dance when we need to.
