Now that the HTC ThunderBolt is finally here, that means we can begin worrying about Verizon's other LTE handsets and when they'll begin arriving, too. Thanks to a new leak sent over to Android Central, it looks like Samsung's 4G LTE, aka SCH-i510, aka Stealth, aka DROID Stealth will be the next 4G smartphone to hit Big Red's airwaves. As you can see above, Costco is planning to launch the device, which they're calling the "Samsung 4G Droid Stealth," on April 7th, with pre-orders (and live demos) kicking off on March 24th.
It's kind of surprising that Samsung's 4G LTE could end up sporting the DROID brand since the title is usually reserved for Motorola's devices, but what really matters here are the specs: 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 1GHz core, 8 megapixel camera, 1.3 MP FFC, and Android 2.2 with TouchWiz. The Super AMOLED Plus display sounds pretty great, as does the fact that the device is LTE capable, but it's also missing a few features that users are really starting to look for, like a dual-core CPU. Plus, some folks may be avoiding Sammy's products simply because of the long wait that Galaxy S owners saw for the Android 2.2 update. Where do you all stand on the matter? UPDATE: According to the folks at Droid-Life, the Samsung 4G LTE/SCH-i510/Droid Stealth will actually be called the "DROID Charge" when it comes to market.
