There's been a lot of hype surrounding Sprint's CTIA offerings, including the HTC EVO 3D and EVO View 4G, and now that the convention is finally here, we can finally confirm those two devices as well as some of their specs. First up, the EVO 3D will pack a 4.3-inch 960x540 qHD 3D display, 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, dual 5 megapixel cameras with LED flash as well as HD video capture (720p 3D, 1080p 2D), a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, and HTC's Sense UI.
The EVO fun doesn't end there, as the beans on the EVO View 4G's specs have been spilled, as well. Expect the EVO View 4G to arrive with a 7-inch 1024x600 display, 1.5GHz processor, 5 MP camera, 1.3 MP FFC, and, of course, Sense UI.
While the prospect of a 3D smartphone may not appeal to everyone, at least not yet, but the EVO 3D has some pretty awesome specs besides its 3D display. As Evan pointed out, with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 4.3-inch qHD display, I bet that a lot folks will be willing to pick up an EVO 3D regardless of their feelings on 3D. And who knows, maybe they'll even begin to enjoy the 3D capabilities of the handset and convince their friends to pick one up, too. What do you all think about 3D-capable smartphones? Would you consider picking up an EVO 3D?
