HTC's Thunderbolt has been the star of a couple of leaked photo shoots, but we still haven't been able to get a good idea of exactly what the device will look like until now. The folks over at Droid-Life have managed to get their hands on 12 photos of the Thunderbolt, giving us a full tour of the handset's body. One of the images shows it with the name "Thunderbolt," which seems to dispel the rumor from earlier today that the device would come to market with the name "Mocha." As we expected after poring over previous leaks, the Thunderbolt will look a lot like a Desire HD, but will also sport the kickstand that EVO owners have been enjoying for some time now. It also looks like there's a speaker located behind the kickstand, which should make the multimedia experience on the Thunderbolt even better.
It's kind of disappointing that these photos aren't of the Thunderbolt in the wild and powered on, but they're still great for showing us exactly what the outside of the device will look like. The Thunderbolt (likely) won't be a dual-core device, but the fact that it's got a giant screen, kickstand, and can access Verizon's 4G network should be enough for those of us that have somehow resisted the temptation to jump to Sprint for an EVO. HTC will be revealing the Thunderbolt at CES on January 6th, but luckily we have these photos to tide us over until then. So, who's getting one?
