The Samsung Continuum, the latest Android phone by Sammie destined for Verizon, was just officially announced today, for launch November 11. Specs again include:

• 3.4-inch Super Amoled display
• 1.8-inch Ticker display, activated by a hardware grip sensor: For missed notifications, Tweets, Facebook, MySpace, RSS feeds, weather, music player controls, mail, SMS and more, plus a ticker history feature, to call up stuff you missed.
• 1 GHz Hummingbird application processor
• Will land with Twidroyd, Skype Mobile, Scrabble, Tetris, Blockbuster, and more on board
• Android 2.1 (will be updatable to Froyo 2.2 "soon," say Sammie execs)
• HD Camcorder (720p)
• 802.11 b/g/n
• 5MP rear camera with LED flash
• 8GB microSD card pre-installed (up to 32 GB)
• External microSD card slot (not under the battery cover)
• 3G mobile hotspot capability

Now there have been a lot of comparisons made between the Continuum and other Verizon Android phones, like the Fascinate, Incredible and Droid devices. I happened to have a Motorola Droid X with me, so you'll see some comparison shots in the mix.
