Yesterday we saw that LG's enV Touch had vanished completely from Verizon's website, leading us to believe that the enV Pro would soon be arriving. Today we've got more evidence that the Android-powered enV is launching soon, as the device's user guide has leaked. As you can see in the images, the enV Pro will sport a clamshell design with two displays just like previous enVs, although this time both screens are touch-enabled. Other specs for the enV Pro include a 3.2-inch 800x480 outer display, 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash, 102MB of internal memory, a preinstalled 4GB microSD card, Android 2.1, and preloaded software like Swype and Bing. There was no mention of the internal screen size to be found, but I'm sure we'll be learning more in the coming days.
Although the enV Pro looks like it'll be a mid-range, non-DROID device thanks to the small amount of internal memory and the inclusion of Bing, the resolution of the outer display isn't half bad. Plus, the keyboard looks great, which shouldn't be surprising since the enV line has been thought of as some of the better messaging phones available. I'm not a huge fan of the "Send" and "End" keys, which look unnecessarily large, but other than that things look great. So now that we know what the enV Pro actually looks like, are any of you planning to pick one up?
UPDATE: Talk about short-lived. The folks over at Android and Me are reporting that Verizon has cancelled the enV Pro because it just didn't impress testers. It may still appear on November 11th, but as of now I wouldn't hold your breath. Anyone disappointed?
