Windows Phone 7 is still a (very) young platform, but some believe that it's already better than one of its more established competitors. According to Reuters, Dell CEO Michael Dell said that developing smartphones for Microsoft's OS is easier than it is to develop with Android. This comes from Dell's developers, who have experience working with both Android and WP7. Dell also touched on tablets, saying the company will be launching a "significant number" of devices next year.
There's no word on what prompted Michael Dell to make this statement, but it's interesting nonetheless. What I want to know is what ever happened to Dell's 7-inch tablet that was announced back at the end of September and was supposed to arrive in the following weeks. Perhaps it got delayed? Whatever the reason, next year's Great Tablet Race just got even more jam-packed.
