Yesterday we saw a couple of Motorola Android handsets appear in Verizon's inventory systems along with the mystical MZ600 Stingray tablet. Today the Verizon-Android onslaught continues, as the Samsung Continuum has cried "Me too!" and appeared in Verizon's inventory, as well. There's little other information about the Continuum, but it's said to be a mid-range Android phone with specs similar to the LG Ally. This news matches up with a leaked Verizon roadmap that we saw previously, which placed the Continuum I400 above the Samsung Gem and below the Fascinate.
This leak, combined with the leaks yesterday, just continues to show that Verizon is the carrier to go to if you love Android devices. T-Mobile may be getting the hot new G2 soon, but I'm not sure that that phone and the Vibrant will be enough to compete with Verizon's line of DROIDs and the Fascinate. Verizon has even be focusing on the low- to mid-range devices quite a bit lately, which will definitely help Android spread into the mainstream. After all, not everyone wants a monstrous DROID X.
