We've seen just about every possible angle of the still unannounced Motorola DROID 2 on Verizon, but some more shots of it in the wild can't hurt, right? Up above (and below), there are photos of the upcoming device close-up and sitting next to its older, more vanilla brother. You can see that the keyboard on the DROID 2 looks more roomy thanks to the fact that it has four directional buttons rather than the dedicated D-Pad on the DROID. The keys on the D2 also look a little domed than the ones on its predecessor. Finally, the DROID 2 looks to be running the same not-quite-MOTOBLUR skin seen on the DROID X, which lines up with what we've heard in the past.
Just about every rumor we've heard has said that the DROID 2 would be launching some time this month, probably in the latter half. Considering the flurry of leaks we've seen in the past week, including the fact that Verizon employees have been training with the device, I'd say we're not too far off from hearing an official announcement of the device. Have all of the leaks convinced you to upgrade to a DROID 2 when it's finally released?
