Sure, some may tell you that AT&T isn't the carrier to go to if you want a large variety of Android devices. If you're looking forward to a Windows Phone 7 device, however, AT&T looks like the carrier to choose. Speaking with PC World, a spokesperson has said that AT&T will be "the premier carrier for Windows Phone 7." This news, coupled with the rumor that the carrier has ordered eight million WP7 handsets, definitely makes it seem as though AT&T is going all in with Microsoft's new mobile OS.
There is a lot of excitement surrounding the release of Windows Phone 7, especially considering that it's a completely new OS when compared to its predecessor, Windows Mobile. I would be surprised to learn that one of the big four carriers won't be selling WP7 devices, but it certainly sounds like AT&T is the carrier most infatuated with the platform. How many of you out there are planning on picking up a Windows Phone 7 handset when they are released later this year?
