The number of smart and super phones to come to market over the last few months is just straight up perplexing. What's even crazier is the inability of carriers and manufacturers to keep up with the demand for their devices. It's getting to the point where phones are selling out before they're even available, thanks to your friend the "pre-order." Well, in the case of the DRIOD X, the story is no different. The rumor of the day is that Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile have had to end all pre-orders of the Motorola DROID X due to the simple fact that there are more orders for the device than will be available on launch day. Obviously, taking any more orders at this point would cause problems, but according to BGR the rumor has yet to be confirmed. We'll do a little checking ourselves, but other than that, has anyone tried to pre-order a DROID X at Best Buy or Best Buy Mobile without success?
