It's been a long time coming, but it appears that the final version of Android 2.2 is finally rolling out to all Nexus Ones. The update, build number FRF85B, should start showing up on all Nexus Ones over the air today. This means that both AT&T and T-Mobile devices should be seeing the update. Google says that the upgrade will be rolling out gradually and that most devices will get the notification by the end of the week.
As a Nexus One owner on AT&T, I'm glad that the seemingly final version of Froyo is finally being released. While the update is going to be gradually sent out, the option to update manually is always there if you know what to do. If you're feeling impatient, you can download FRF85B right here. Now that the final version of Froyo is out for the Nexus we can take bets on when the update will land for the Motorola DROID. What do you guys think?
