It looks like we'll be learning about Motorola's new DROID phones earlier than expected. Verizon announced today that it will be holding an event on June 23rd with Motorola, Google, and Adobe to announce the "next generation of DROID." There's no information about which devices will be shown, but we're leaning toward both the Droid X and the Droid 2, considering they are expected to see release in the next couple of months. The fact that Adobe will be there leads us to believe that Flash will be involved in some way, probably to help show off Android 2.2 on one, or both, of the devices. There will apparently be demos of the new device(s) after the event, so check back with PhoneDog for all of the news concerning the next generation of DROID!
