It may be the #4 national wireless carrier, but apparently T-mobile is #1 in our hearts. Magenta has scored another JD Power award for customer satisfaction, with the highest ranking among major carrier-owned retail stores.
The companies were assessed based on the following criteria: sales staff (49%); price and promotion (27%); store facility (14%); and display (10%). T-mobile beat out the competition with a score of 729, while Alltel and Verizon Wireless followed with 721 and 714, respectively.
These days, the rising tide of lousy service is enough to make tin cans and string a tempting alternative. So it’s great to see a company that actually focuses on its customers. In fact, year after year, T-mobile tends to score well in this area, which is definitely unusual compared to the rest of the industry. (AHEM, Sprint…)
