Should rumors pan out, the HTC Touch Pro2 will come to AT&T on October 18th, completing the cycle and arriving as a welcome addition to AT&T's smartphone lineup. Billed as the "Tilt II" by the company, the device is sure to please those desiring a new Windows Mobile smartphone on the nation's second largest wireless carrier. What's more, should all rumors be correct, the phone will launch with Windows Mobile 6.5 - so while your friends are busy updating their Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile devices, you'll be ready to go out of the box. Being last to the game can be an advantage at times.
As a recap, the Tilt II (Touch Pro2) will offer a 3.6-inch tilting touchscreen, a full QWERTY keyboard, a 3-megapixel camera, GPS, and Wi-Fi. The jury is still out regarding pricing, but considering that AT&T likes to battle with Verizon on almost every front, we're hoping that it lands for somewhere around $200. Who's planning on picking one up?
