According to sources close to the matter, Palm is preparing to announce its second webOS device, internally codenamed "Pixie" (and known for quite some time as the "EOS"). MobileCrunch reports that the device launch will occur during New York's "Fashion Week." Thanks to the famous Engadget picture , we've known that the device has been in the works for quite some time, so it will be nice to finally get some closure and migrate the Pixie/EOS rumors over to the "fact" category.
The device is expected to be in the $99 range after rebates, and rumored specifications include a full QWERTY keyboard with a touchscreen, 2-megapixel camera, 1150 mAh battery, and Bluetooth 2.1. We're not entirely sure which carrier the device will come to (first), but we'd love to see it land on the GSM side.
