Sprint offers $100 service credit for new Pre customers, changes mind
Color me amazed with this one. What seemed to be a great deal for Sprint customers turned out to be a "gotcha" on Sprint's end. In a new offer, the carrier decided to offer a $100 service credit to new Palm Pre buyers. According to the deal, all you had to do was activate a new line with a Palm Pre, and within three months, a $100 credit would be applied to the account. Sprint was quick to issue the following statement: ?After further internal review today, the offer of a port-in service credit of $100 to new customers who buy the Palm Pre has been pulled, because it was put into the system in error.?
