Great news out of the Verizon Wireless camp this morning for Android fans, as Big Red has announced that the HTC One is coming later this summer. The news was sent out via their Twitter handle (@VZWNews), and barring a possible color change, we assume it's going to pack the same specifications as the regular HTC One. I don't expect it to have anything outside of the typical 1.9 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU, 4.7-inch 1080p HD display, and HTC Sense 5.
The HTC One was announced in February, and while it is the flagship phone, Verizon's getting it a few months later - which eats into on-shelf time before the next iteration of the phone comes out. Is it worth buying now, or should you hold off for the next big smartphone?
