We have put together a list of 10 of our favorite apps to be released during the month of December 2017. Without further ado, let’s get started and jump right into the very first app.
PinDrive is an app that uses augmented reality to show you where you last parked your car. After you park, you just take your phone out of your pocket, take a photo of your location, and place a pin. Then when you start heading back to your car, you pull out your phone and you can look at the world through View Finder to find that digital pin that you placed at the location that you placed it. It’s super neat and super cool. I highly recommend.
RAW Power is a powerful photo editor that specializes in editing your raw photos. You can edit other photos but given the name, it’s clear that this app was meant for raw photos. There’s a lot of advanced settings that you can use to tweak the appearance of your photos. What’s more is you can sync with your iCloud to re-arrange or organize your photos on the Cloud or you can save your edits there directly.
Sonic Runners Adventure was just released to the App Store. It’s a $3 game that could absolutely be worth it if you love Sonic and/or old arcade games. What’s interesting is that it’s from Gameloft and is not from Sega. And basically it doesn’t include all of the advertisements or in-app purchases that were found in the previous Sega version.
I really shouldn’t have to explain the gameplay of Sonic because you probably should all know the gist of the game. You basically play as a hedgehog and collect golden rings. If you like what you see, you should download this game.
Who's In is a social productivity app that makes planning a breeze. You can search for activities that you’d like to do with your friends, suggest times to meet up and then let your friends vote for the best option. This app has support for restaurants, movies, events, but you can also create your own event too if you’re like hosting a party or something.
GoToStage is an app right up my alley. It’s a learning platform that uses videos to help you improve your life. The categories range from business-savvy to health and finance. I’m all for education apps given the fact that you’re watching this video to learn more about apps. I feel like some of you might be seriously interested in this application.
Snowboarding Party: Aspen makes me wish I would go snowboarding more often to be honest. Apparently, there are a lot of snowboard party games out there. I just discovered this one where the location is Aspen. There are 9 different runs and you can customize your rider and improve on your tricks. The controls, I think, are really simple and intuitive. Overall, I just had a lot of fun playing this snowboarding game.
The next app is called Powder Project and it’s definitely a little bit related to the last app. The app shows you where all the best ski lines are. But what I like about it is its offline functionality. It offers full GPS, route info, elevation profiles, photos, and various insights that you should know about like the ascend and descend and all that fun stuff. What’s neat is that it’ll know where you are even if you lose cell service, which is very likely on a mountain.
Spire Music Recorder is a free app that should appeal to the music producers out there. The app lets you layer up to 8 tracks to build a song and there are some creative effects that you can use to customize your sound. What caught my eye was just the simplicity of the app. I just loved the dark theme that’s easy on the eyes as well as the clean layout that ultimately makes producing music a breeze.
Snakes is a modern day version of the classic game where you have to eat as many apples as possible. Every time you eat an apple, you get longer and you can touch yourself and you die and restart. In this app, there are two main actions: move the snakes and fill the board. There are 12 worlds and 480 levels so this game should take you a while to beat. Best of all, it is completely free.
We thought we’d leave you with a fun information app called Daily Random Facts. As the name suggests, the app delivers new facts every single day that are completely random. Some random facts include “Each year, more people are killed by teddy bears than by grizzly bears” and “The least used letter in the alphabet is Q.” Go learn some new facts by downloading this app.
With that last one, those are 10 of our favorite iOS apps to hit the App Store during the month of December 2017.
