Every single day, new apps are submitted to the Play Store. It’s tough to find them all, let alone narrow 10 down to talk about. But that’s exactly what we’re going to do for you today. Sit back, relax, and let’s take a look at the very first app:
Taskful is a colorful, well-designed task manager app that aims to keep you on track and productive. What separates this task manager from the many others is that it only shows you what you need to do today so you can stay focused and motivated. The app has widgets, a daily progress bar, reminders, and dark and light modes, and there’s a lot more of other features. If you’re looking for a new task manager app, you should definitely check out Taskful.
Fluctuate is a great app to have in your inventory this time of year. It’s a universal price tracker so you can have it monitor the price of an item you are interested in buying to let you know when the price is falling low enough for you to buy it. What’s cool is that it works with almost all online shopping sites and not just Amazon.
Icy Ropes is an app that has finally made its way to Android. Your goal is to take control of two climbers and jump from cliff to cliff with each climber tied together by a single rope. You collect coins, open up secret icy boxes, and even play as unicorns. Yeah that’s right. There’s a lot of characters to unlock and some serious challenges to overcome. What caught my eye is the minimal design and just addicting gameplay.
The Mercury Icon Pack is one of the newest icon packs to hit the Play Store. It’s completely free and WYSIWYG. So if you don’t really like what you see, you probably shouldn’t get it. But generally speaking, each icon is shapeless and is designed to look like the planet Mercury. This will be a great way to spice up your Android phone if you don’t have an icon pack or you’re looking for something new.
Now, Cryptocurrency is all the rage right now. And it looks to be for the foreseeable future. You can use the app, Crypto Coins Watcher to track the values of Bitcoin and all the other AltCoins currently available. The app is really simple, offering just a list of different Cryptocurrencies with green and red arrows to indicate the rise or fall of the values. If you’re a Cryptocurrency enthusiast, you should check out this app.
CopyClip is a clipboard manager that automatically saves everything that you copy. It’s that powerful and that simple and easy to use. If you want to retrieve your list of copied items, you can do so via a non-obtrusive drop down notification. And you can even pin your favorite clippings to save them for later.
Words 2 was technically released last month but I didn’t get a chance to include it in last month’s video. Basically this app offers all the same functionality as the original but with new game modes so you can play against fictional characters and new solo challenger events or you can play a fast-paced team match. What’s cool is that it backs up all of your gameplay by pulling up your past games so if you were a fan of the original, all your previous games should be with the new game here. I’ve been playing this game like non-stop for the past several days and I can’t seem to put it down. It’s a lot of fun.
VectoRise Wallpapers features custom high-resolution wallpapers that are usually vector-based and super minimal. The resolution is so high that they can actually be used as PC wallpapers too if you want to do that. Similar to the icon pack that we discussed earlier, WYSIWYG. Personally, I really like the simplicity of this wallpapers.
And simplicity has been a bit of a theme in this episode. The KISS Launcher is really no exception. This launcher was designed to save you time and precious battery life. The launcher consists of lists with a search bar so you can search and find exactly what you are looking for. Once you get used to the layout, you’ll be able to navigate your phone very quickly.
The last app we have for you today is called Orbia. This is an unreleased game but it shows so much promise. This game challenges you and your friends to clear as many levels as you can by overcoming moving obstacles with style. And by style, I mean a well-timed tap. This game is supposed to be quick and easy to play, allowing you to just pick it up and start playing. It does get pretty tough though, as time goes on so do keep that in mind.
With that last one, those were 10 of our favorite Android apps to hit the Play Store during the month of December 2017.
