The Tesla Model X was at the Panasonic booth at this year's CES and it definitely piqued a lot of interest by the onlookers, including our own Marco Hanna. 

At CES 2015, the Tesla Model X was displayed at the Panasonic booth. Why? Because Panasonic made the batteries for the model.

While I’m not the biggest fan of electric cars, I was impressed with the Tesla Model X. The display vehicle was functional in almost any way. Compared to the previous Model S, the Model X came with more premium look and feel. It also shares 60% of its parts with the previous model, along with its battery pack and motor.

The difference with the Tesla Model X is that it comes with a standard 4-Wheel Drive, the same technology that first debuted on the P85D Model S All-Wheel Drive.

Another cool feature on the Model X were its falcon doors. Unlike Lamborghini’s suicide or scissor doors, the Model X calls their doors as falcons as they resemble the wings of a gull. It even opens up nice and good for a low car garage ceiling.

The interior and dashboard looks a lot like the Model S, which means it probably has the same display panel—an all IPS LCD dashboard that looks futuristic. It could well be one of the best specked up cars of our time.

Production of the Tesla Model X will most likely start on Quarter 3 of this year with the car set for a 2016 release.
