Because of its 5.96-inch display, this Motorola-made device is considered as a phablet. As a matter of fact, it is larger compared to the Galaxy Note 1; which was the first phablet that started it all. With this, many wonder how to deal with the device’s enormous size and curved form factor.
With its curved form, the usual issue that Nexus 6 users found annoying was that the buttons on the side get pressed accidentally once it is put inside a jean pocket. The result of this is that the phone gets switched off. Unless you regularly check your device, you won’t know that your phone has already been turned off by your pocket.
Inside a jean pocket, the Nexus 6 produced an extra bulk feel. Contrary to this, it did not have a heavy weight. The bulk was simply a discomfort when the phone is placed inside a pocket. A good solution would be to put the phone screen down as it produces a more comfortable result.
Compared to the massive and slippery iPhone 6 Plus, the Nexus 6 can be held with just one hand. The white Nexus 6 model tends to be more slippery than the midnight blue option, however, the latter collects grease and fingerprint marks. A remedy is to use dbrand skin or case so it doesn’t slip easily. It will also add weight to the bottom end of the phone, which will even out its top heavy portion.
The curve profile on the Nexus 6 makes it a suitable device for daily use since it provides a better grip on the hand. It also comes with a fantastic large display screen that truly makes each user enjoy his device.
