What’s going on everyone? It’s Marco Hanna from PhoneDog.com and right now what you’re looking at is 4K UHD video at 30fps on the Motorola-built Google Nexus 6. Essentially, it’s the same sensor found on the Moto X for 2014 that also does 4K UHD video at 30fps. It’s the same 13-megapixel camera sensor and generally, it’s actually a lot better than the previous Nexus devices that had not so great camera quality although it’s still not the best compared to something like the Galaxy Note 4. But it definitely does do 4K UHD video at a very pleasurable type of quality.
It’s not the best again. It definitely has decent dynamic range, decent autofocus and generally all around pretty good video quality. So I’ll go ahead and just do a couple more pans here, just showing you guys how that video quality looks like.
We’re also using the internal microphone found on the Google Nexus 6. And it’s a little breezy today so it might be a little windy in terms of the noise you’re hearing. But we’ll just see how that sounds as well.
I definitely want to hear what you guys think of the 4K UHD video quality in the comments. Make sure to leave them below. I definitely not altered any of the video quality this is all straight out of the Google Nexus 6 just exported again to Pro-Res and uploaded directly to YouTube so definitely no color grading, no editing, nothing in terms that will change the video quality that much. Obviously it’s a little degraded because it’s going on YouTube but it gives you a generally good idea of what this looks like on the Google Nexus 6.
