This is the Apple Watch and I know that you guys have watched the unboxing and full review from PhoneDog Cam. But this is my take on the Apple Watch that I personally bought and secondly I haven’t seen too many videos on this specific model. This is the Apple Watch 42mm with leather loop bands. The reason why I picked this watch is it looks absolutely great and the band is infinitely adjustable which a huge attractive selling point is for me, especially as a watch lover. So I really wanted to share my first overall experience with the Apple Watch and secondly, also the leather loop band.
So the box here is pretty much the same thing you saw in Cam’s video. It’s a large, watch shaped box. And if you take off the lid, you will see a plastic box that holds in the Apple Watch. And if you lift that guy up, you’ll find the sleeve that says designed by Apple in California. Inside the pouch, you’ll find a quick start guide and a how to use your Apple Watch also your warranty information. Underneath that pouch, you’ll find the charger and wall wart as well and that is all.
Going back to the box that encases the Apple Watch, this is a little different from the Apple Watch Sport because first it’s actually a square and cube looking box and secondly, when you open it up, the watch is sitting a whole lot more nicely than the Apple Watch Sport and it even has a holder to protect its form during shipping.
And here is the Apple Watch 42mm with black leather loop. My first overall experience is the Apple Watch feels a whole lot more premium and definitely heftier than my 42mm Sport gray Apple Watch Sport. And it looks and feels like a much more premium watch. The main purpose of this video is mainly to show off the brand new leather loop. This is basically a leather band that is actually filled with little pieces of magnet. And the way this works is you put it on like any normal watch and the way you tighten it is you basically pull on the strap to tighten it to your wrist and you just basically let go of the strap and it uses magnetic force just to really close itself down.
The magnets are very strong on the leather loop and it doesn’t really feel like it’s going to let go at any point of time. I feel really comfortable with actually running with this thing on but you probably don’t want to do that with a leather band because it will change in color and you’ll basically ruin your leather loop so you may want to go ahead and get yourself a sport band if you plan on going running.
But just in general, the leather loop is probably my favorite Apple Watch band that is currently available. It definitely looks the most interesting, it feels the most interesting. And in my opinion, also one of the most comfortable bands around. So I’m definitely interested on your thoughts on the leather loop itself and also the stainless steel Apple Watch so make sure to leave a comment below.
