As the smartphone market converges, it's a battle in many ways between hardware and software. On one hand, you have smartphones like the HTC One and LG (Google) Nexus 4. They're beautiful and bring together the best of the best in terms of build quality and overall materials. On the other hand, you have the software angle. Samsung, HTC, Nokia, and others have taken Android and Windows Phone 8 to the next level with software goodies, and they're quite impressive. And then there are the ones that design their own hardware AND software (in full) - like Apple and BlackBerry.
In this episode of Aaron asks, it's all about what's more important to you. Is it hardware or software? Is the beautiful, metal smartphone the best thing to have, or is the software angle a better long-term value? Let me know here or on Twitter @PhoneDog_Aaron!
