The good: qwerty keyboard
The bad: Horrible touch screen
Summary: I am on my 3rd glyde replaced under warranty. They all have major problems with the touch screen with or without screen protector. The touch doesnt always recognize your touch it will almost always select something else on the screen than what you want. Many times you have to power off and on before the screen would become functional again. Do not waste your money buy something else.
I love my tracfone because of its great reception and service. I also love my tracfone because of its great rates.
The good: Sleek design, simple.
The bad: Failure in the phone OS. Weak vocabulary when texting. Simple little annoyances such as can't accept a 400k ringtone. Very hard to see in the sun.
Summary: Here is what I wrote to Nokia today:

A few months ago, I inquired to your technical support about the capabilities/limitations in regards to your Nokia Mural and probabilities of firmware updates. Initially, I was very excited to receive the handset due to it's beautiful design. However, I soon became concerned due to it's limited abilities the phone provides compared to my older 3 year old Sony/Ericsson. Then, your group failed to reply to my questions, though I continued to use your phone. But today, my device broke only after 3 months of usage due to a simple matter, the battery running out and can't recharge anymore. I am actually very happy now since I have asserted your failure on the engineering of this device, and will no longer consider purchasing another product from your company ever again... even though this is my third handset over the years from your company. Also, no longer will I contribute to your company stock. I am relieved that I do not use Nokia for all that matters.

Cheers,
-vic
The good: Easy to use, comfortable
The bad: Powers down by itself at random, Poor reception
Summary: Honestly, the worst phone I ever had. The Samsung t-139 is completely unreliable. About a month after I got it, the stupid thing started shutting itself manually, and now, as I type this, it shows as charging while it's not even connected to charge? Samsung, take this piece of crap off of the market!
The good: camera, keypad(luvvvv it!),color screen, great volume, voice recorder, mobile web!!!
The bad: NO GAMES AVAILABLE FOR THIS PHONE! :( this makes me sad! i dont have great service for calls where i live, slow at sending picture messages, and not being able to find enough websites about the phone with ringtones and wallpapers...:( lastly, your phone not automatically locking(if set to,which u cant on security,) after you x-off whatever you were on...
Summary: I used to have a flip phone, and have alllllways wanted a phone with a keypad! and i have allllways wanted cheap-enough unlimited txt! so this is good enough...yes i would rather have a fancier phone with a touch screen,apps,etc......but this still makes me happy...... my friend, btw, has a phone with these awesome games that you can send to your phone ($1.00) so i wanted some games....i asked another website and one of the workers? told me games are not available on this phone...that made me sad....thats the one thing they need next!
The good: $40 per month for unlimited talk, text, & internet.
Low prices on good quality phones.
The bad: none so far!
Summary: I switched to MetroPCS after having several problems with Verizon's customer service, and I couldn't be happier with the switch! $40 a month for unlimited talk, text, and internet, and NO CONTRACT!! You seriously cannot beat that deal anywhere! I always have service and have never dropped a call. In fact, while on a family vacation to a beach in New Hampshire, my parents continually asked to use my phone because their Verizon phones did not have service while my Metro phone did. I have the Samsung Freeform which is a pretty decent phone and was only $80. If you try to get a decent phone from Verizon, you have to be willing to drop at least $200. Every Metro employee that I've spoken with so far has been nothing but courteous, honest, and informative. Seriously guys, make the switch! I will never go back to another carrier where you pay way more for less features and get locked into a 2 year contract!
The good: Excellent customer service. Excellent value for their plans...can 'grandfather' your plan after your contract expires.
The bad: I'm sure there are some...but after 11 years, have not experienced any.
Summary: Great value, least expensive carrier in Central Oregon. Terrific service, no dropped calls, other family members are contracted with Verizon, Sprint and AT&T. They experience more dropped calls than we do. US Cellular partners with Verizon towers, only time when we experience disruption is when we are travelling over the Cascades, or in DEEP canyons while rafting.
The good: Great Keyboard
Web browsing is easy
Touch screen is 95% accurate
Good for simple gaming
Camera is great for pictures, decent for video
Great for music
The bad: Short battery life
Apps are limited

Summary: Great for a first phone but I don't see myself using it past the 2 year contract. Nice design, great for texting. The music player is amazing. Battery life is a problem sometimes, with almost no useful apps. Except Social Beat, but that's another review.
The good: just got mine today, i adore it... it is really cute and perfect for the girly type.. it's super light and chic!! really simple to use..
The bad: a little slow when trying to reach internet and browse
Summary: overall, has a lot of super cute features sure to please your inner diva!!
The good: great service
good coverage
no contract
The bad: not an iphone
Summary: listen of course I want an iphone or a phone that could basically do everything for me. But there is no way I could ever pay 100 dolalrs a month for a phone bill. That just isnt the way the economy is working anymore. someone told me to get a prepaid phone and reccomended Net10. I AM SO glad they did. I spend 30 bucks at most a month and get everything I really need. talking, texting, just everything that is realistic. The coverage is great.. I actually had worse coverage on my iphone!!
And with no contract, I dont feel bullied by a big company.
The good: In chicago......phone service is great, 3G coverage is great, very reliable.
The bad: Phone selection.
Summary: I've had cricket for over a month now. I was in a hurry, my sprint contract was up, and needed a phone fast. I went to cricket because i could get a phone with keyboard, and a 3g wireless air card for the $75.00 a month. First off, i have NEVER had a dropped call yet. That must say something. Every text i've sent (and there are lots) has gone thru in seconds. I'm the only one out of countless friends that has cricket, and i have had not ONE problem. Phone works, service has been spectacular, and the internet card..... GREAT! The 3G wireless card is faster than the DSL i use at work. I don't even use my work network anymore. I just use the card. Now i'm not gonna lie and say it's downloads in lightning speed. But, browsing, music, video, and the occasional download is the perfect use for this card. I've had nextel, then sprint in the past. And the service with cricket, at least for me has been way better! I've had countless dropped calls with sprint, none with cricket. And with the wireless card, sprint was terrible. Pages couldn't load, yahdayahda. But not with the cricket card. For instance, i'm in my basement RIGHT NOW writing this with it. I disagree with alot of the negative comments here. I'll tell ya what, maybe i'm lucky, but i'm sticking with cricket.
i tried to get the music to play off a card but when i went to the service menu it will not let me enable the music. anyone no how to help?
The good: Great video quality ! And diffrent menu theams. Tons of entertainment with gps /video dj/music dj/ and photo dj
The bad: Texting !! This phone is extreamly delayed when your trying to text . Finger prints are annoying too.
Summary: I would have to say its 50/50 its not bad but its not great either like it has many features that can keep you busy for a good while but if you text alot DONT GET IT!!! Im a really fast texter and i always have to wait on this phone to catch up. and it takes forever to do any thing when you first turn it on or after you edit your contacts
i loved this phone. I drop my phones all the time, and this phone dosen't break easy. I have even thrown my phone into a fish tank twice, and it still worked.the number pad is super easy to use, i have had this phone for two years and i got used to the key bored within 2 weeks, in 4 months i was texting and using all my other apps. without looking. i loved this phone! :)
The good: i think this phone is great. the second day that i had this phone i was astounded. the screan is nice and big for all my pics and the keyboard is perfect for texting. what else can you ask for.
The bad: THe shape is a little funky. and the sides are bulky, and may not fit everywhere you want to put it. the screan has a black line just above the buttons and that line is up way to far.
Summary: Over all the phone is great. works like a charm, and plus it has a built in music player, for all the songs you love. and this is not like any other camera phone. this screan is wonderfull, it's big and it can fit any kind of picture in it. so you dont have to worry about if the screan is to small. and its also a really great texting phone, 1 because of the screan 2 because of the keys. and its just like a computer with the keys, so if you know how to type then get this phone. and it also comes with internet that also helps you to send pictures, i know that because not all phones have that. and wel lets just say
THIS PHONE ROCKS!!
The good: $25 for unlimited data messaging and 300 minutes, phones (good for prepaid), no contract, can sign up at 13, cheap phones for what you get from them
The bad: coverage is just ok, no roaming, no international coverage
Summary: I have had virgin mobile for about 6 months now and its great! I had the x-tc and have sine switched to the rumor 2. The phones are good and the plans are amazing. The largest problem is I live on the west coast where coverage can be spotty. It is the same network as Sprint though so don't be fooled coverage is still good. I would recommend Virgin Mobile to anyone who is ok with an average phone and wants to save money!
The good: LOW COST!!!!! NO HIDDEN FEES!!!!NO CONTRACT!!!!Great coverage, Unlimited talk/txt to any carrier, Unlimited Internet/Email Access, Great phone(I have the Sanyo Incognito)Best phone service ever- I am totally impressed
The bad: None that I can think of...possibly a cheaper quality handset than the average on the market but I have absolutely no complaints with mine. I love it
Summary: I always believed the big guys like verizon and att had the best coverage - not true. I had verizon for several years and the bill kept increasing. I didn't have unlimited talk and I didn't even have a data plan and was paying almost $100 bucks a month!!! It was ridiculous. I switched to boost for a few weeks before cancelling with verizon. I was soooo happy with service for the price. I can go on facebook, email, google, google maps, talk/txt anyone on any carrier for 50 bucks a month. The service is excellent. I have only lost a call once or twice since I started. Most every call - to verizon, sprint, att are all crystal clear. I cancelled with verizon, it was a no brainer.
The good: Keep phone active for as little as $7 a month.
Great coast-to-coast network coverage.
No-nonsense service with zero hidden fees. service charges etc.
The bad: Very basic handsets - no smartphones.
Not for high usage persons.
Summary: Tracfone is still the cheapest way to keep a cell phone active and in minutes in the States. Their coverage is still the best out of all the prepaid carriers.
This phone will start to get expensive if you use hundreds of minutes per month but for occasional users or those wanting to keep an emergency phone this is the best way to do it.
The good: fixed cost, excellent coverage (uses AT&T's network)
The bad: apparent off-shore customer support difficult to deal with
Summary: only had one notable problem dealing with their apparent off-shore customer support which seemed unable to resolve my particular problem. However, I contacted corporate which resolved the issue quickly, efficiently and professionally, so I'm still a satisfied customer.
