I don't understand what problems the other folks had. I had Sprint for 8 years and after many billing issues, I went to an all inclusive plan from Boost. Since it uses the same Sprint CDMA towers, I figured I would get the same great service. I was right. The key to getting better customer service is to go to the Sprint store and get the in store reps to help you instead of going to the call in service. When I was with Sprint, I only called customer care when there was a billing issue, which was EVERY month. With Boost, there are no overages, so I can handle my bill from the website. Keep in mind, not all phone companies are the same. YOU have to figure the best way to deal with them. With Boost you will get no overages like you would with Verizon or Sprint, so no surprises.
I decided to pay my own cellphone bill (since I turned 18) I live in central mass and commute to college in Boston, I went from Verizon to virgin mobile (service was very spotty, and would lose service in car and movie theaters) and had nooo service at all in my apartment since it's a basement floor. It was so stressing. So I went to Metro during Thanksgiving time, and purchased the Admire. I paid a total of like $150 for phone and plan but boy was it worth it! In this apartment I have the same service as I did with Verizon, 1Bar to 0 bars. Sometimes I would roam but that's okay since I don't talk much. Once I walk out of this apartment, I get 3 to 4 bars (max is 4) and I have never lost service anywhere at all! If I have like one bar or none in some areas I can still make calls and texts! Just because you never always have full service 24/7 doesn't mean it's a bad company. I also have family in south Jersey & Delaware and I figured out in Jersey Metro has a much stronger coverage. I always have 3 bars or 4. never lower. It seems in Massachusetts it jumps but that's okay :) People who complain about customer service be nice and patient to them and they'll be nice back! I have never had a problem with them! But in reality you should just find time to go to a damn store! Overall great company. I love the no contract deal too! If you complain about the service also you should've of looked at the coverage map, see all the locations you travel to, and if there's like no service at all in some places you go, DON'T SIGN UP FOR METRO! Period. I want to go 4G soon and get the Attain, sick of slow internet speeds Xb
I have had my Net 10 phone for 6-8 months and never had a real problem with it. When I transferred my number, I found out it became owned by AT&T. In other words, they are owned by AT&T. Net 10, Straight Talk and Tracphone are all the same company. So those on here who say one of those is better don't have a clue. The customer service is horrid, if you are good with a computer you will never even need to talk to them, because you will be able to do all activation and number transferring online. But my father had problems transferring his number to tracphone which is once again same company and same customer service alone with Straight talk. It was terrible, they tried to say since his simm chip was activated with a different phone number that they could not change it to his prior number. After about an hour of fighting with them because it was their fault that it got activated with the wrong number. I was finally able to find someone there that was able to change the phone number on the simm to his old one. He initially called in to activate and the activation rep messed up, it surely didn't help that he is over 60, so if you are old and not good with this stuff ask a young person for help activating and you should be just fine. As for those who complain about the andriod stuff, until the 2x comes out they have yet to carry a well reviewed andriod phone. before you buy a particular phone you should always google the model number and watch and read the reviews. Some phones are made cheaply, and this includes the low end android models. I have considered getting one but the reviews told me to wait cuz the next generation of low end androids are going to be better. And the reviews of the LG Optimus 2x are way better than the previous offerings from straight talk and Net 10.
I live in Miami Florida and I am facing issues with call drops and not receiving text msges and calls for the last two days. I did inquire from close by Metro Pcs agencies and they also confirmed customers are facing some issues some phone are working and some are not. Maybe Metro is working on network or towers. I had a T-Mobile before and other different sister services, but Metro is the best with the exception of these few days started from February 23, 2012. I hope they take care of current Metro network issues asap. T-Mobile is also providing non contract 50 dollars package but I guarantee you won't know the service or multimedia text msges until and unless you join that service.
Great to look at, light and slim. The phone with a name too long to even attempt to type is easy on the eyes and nice to hold, but I'd like it better if it had HTC's Sense. I got it because I was tired of my smaller screen on the HTC EVO 3D. If you have the EVO 3D, keep it and wait until HTC makes an EVO with a bigger display.
I am an aspiring director with the Sims 3 and, as you can tell by my one line review, i need a voice recorder!
While I have been with Metro pcs for years now. I just bought my first android phone from a blackberry curve. I purchased the LG Esteem. I love it. My only compliant is battery dies quickly. Phone is lighting fast for internet and email. I have been happy with Metro. Rarely drop calls, good reception. Dont call with questions go to an acutal store. I find the staff at stores are more educated about product then the call in center. No Contract and one price for service with no surprises at the end of the month is great.
Ive never been in love, until i met this phone. Fast, Long lasting, basically everything you could ever need in a phone. Recommend to everyone!!
I sold my HTC Inspire to get this and it was one of the best decisions I have made. The Super AMOLED Plus display is the best thing about it. The 4.5 inch display may sound big but Samsung makes it work with the thinness of the phone. The phone lasts all day with moderate use and the mobile network on HSPA+ reception is great. Awesome device from AT&T.
I've been with VM for 3 years since i was 13. started with the rumor touch and upgraded to the motorola triumph. i love both. The only complaint i have is their coverage. very spoty coverage. but i can deal with that.
ok moving on... (PLEASE READ)
okay yesterday I turned on my triumph and the screen was black with lines on it. it was broke. I WAS DEVASTATED AND FURIOUS. I SPENT 300 DOLLARS ON A PHONE AND I WAS OUT. I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I DIDN'T HAVE INSURANCE ON MY PHONE THAT VM OFFERS. (WHICH REALLY ISN'T THAT GOOD. DOESN'T COVER MANY THINGS) .... i called vm to see if there was ANYTHING THEY COULD DO . i told them what i thought happened. I had my phone in my back pocket all day @ school and when i took it out on the bus it was broke. they said it broke from pressure. (my butt on the phone). the representative i spoke with said SHE WAS SENDING A BRAND NEW TRIUMPH TO ME @ NO COST. EVEN OVERNIGHT SHIPPING!!! I WAS SO HAPPY. IT WASN'T VM'S RESPONSIBILITY TO REPLACE MY PHONE. I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE INSURANCE. ALL SHE SAID IS EVERY MONTH FROM NOW ON I HAVE TO PAY $5 A MONTH FOR INSURANCE. IM SO HAPPY. I LOVE VIRGIN MOBILE!!! BEST PREPAID EVER!!!

I have to say that I really did like
Tmobile until I canceled my service.
I had to pay an additional 2 months of service since they had incorrectly
stopped my service on the wrong day.
Needless to say I would never go back
to them again because of this.
I have had the HTC REZOUND for a little over 2 months now. and other then the battery and a little bit of bloatware. it is by far the best phone iv ever had. but thanks to extended battery and a little help from forums both problems i had were fixed a week after getting it. the screen is so crisp and bright its better then my TV screen he he. its super fast with the 1.5 dual core processor. and VERIZON 4G LTE. All around great phone
I don't know why the att website doesn't say anything about the international tx, it only says 25c per sent but nothing about received. I did ask the customer service but they can't give me the exact answer.
I find it hearbreaking that 2 people have complained about this phone, and it was last year. The Sensation did have some issues initially, however TMO and HTC have done their best to correct them. I now have no random reboots, my cover fits fine, battery life is good. This is the phone I paid big bucks for, and I couldn't ask for anything more! Well except ICS at the end of March 2012...
I love my LG Optimus and I use it as a WIFI hotspot and can also tether it for faster speeds but you cant beat a 100 dollar phone that costs 300 normally and unlock it to do all of what the 500 dollar plus phones do. For 55 dollars a month unlimited everything is hard to beat. I am comming from 3 years with Tmobile which I loved they just dont have enough coverage out here in the boonies where I now live, and SPRINT happens to cover it so, Boost works for me! great deal, get-er-done
This is a great phone except it doesn't operate hands free. None of the Androids apps work as well as BlueTooth operation built in. For some reason Samsung says they removed this function/feature from the phone. A Flagship phone should have this. My older phones have this feature. Shame on Samsung for removing it. Shame on Aaron for not mentioning it. This GSII is going back to AT&T tomorrow.
Its really one of the smallest HTC android phones to me, compared to what I saw with an LG optimus one and the HTC status. The wildfire s does an okay job with just a single-core processor, but unless you take some lagging to an advantage on Angry Birds, its a great mid-ranged device. I'm sure that it is a leap from the wildfire with its better resolution and redesign. One owner that I know reported that the market couldn't update, but it is his phone on Virgin Mobile I am comparing (he now has the EVO 4G).
Everything is great About this phone and I love it...Except for the Cheap plastic made by Samsung...It's too light >:( It's just feel cheap you know...But Everything is Great There are no lags,Big Amoled Screen It's the best phone ever made
I have had a net 10 phone for like 5 years. never a problem...service great... i have seen other phones not work in certain areas...but mine did.. decided to upgrade to get internet service... liked it till i dropped it once and now it does NOT work... my old one had been dropped 1000 times...washed dried and never gave out on me once. so much for a new phone.
