The good: no contracts , easy to download miuntes with the value plan and always works in my area
The bad: none
Summary: I love my motorola flip phone from tracfone. I have no problems with reception and the features on the phone are easy to use. I use it for only emergency situations so for me it is the best choice. I had verizon wireless and it never worked in my area where I live.
The good: My circle, dont drop your mobile to mobile, great reception, get through were other carriers dont, no roaming charges on verizon (big plus), and sprint, no longer contracts when changing plans, my lg ax8600 very reliable, very affordable
The bad: website problems and when that happenes i cant cant change my my cirlce contacts, costumer service needs just a little work, sometimes people say they call and they get the answer machine--dont here the call waiting beep.
Summary: I have had suncom, tmobile and now alltel. never went to sprint because i heard horrible stories, verizon is to expensive, tmobile has wonderful costumer service but my reception was way less than expected. suncom, well i just cant remember that far back.

My cirlce is the greates thing invented in the cell world for now!!!! my recent bill said that between the mobile to mobil and the my circle i have used 2300 minutes!!! and i still have a week to go. i have hardly used my airtime minutes.

i can remember that with tmobile my fave it just wasnt enough--one of them i had to put my husband down because tmobile dropped the mobile to mobile once you got a my fave so that only left me four!! so i was always telling people "call me after nine, running up my minutes, sorry bye"

now i feel so free!!!! Being in the army-- my family is so spread around this earth and with so many diffrent providers-this works fine, i can keep in touch as much as i want and with any of my fams provider!!! Friends included.
i feel more conected and like i said the reception is great.

i highly recoment alltel-but first please research your area--where your travel, ask around and if alltel is one of the options do take it before the other ones.my decision was made in the course of 6 months carefully watching other alltel users--and others. you do not want to be tied to something you cant afford or thats not usable to you.
The good: -Price
-Size
-Ease of Use
-Functionality
-Battery Life!
The bad: None Yet!
Summary: Vast upgrade from early model V3. Our area has a great signal and voice quality and strength is great, no dropped calls. I am hard of hearing and the position of the speaker is perfect, max volume is not needed as with the V3. In the past I have not been an iPod person but now daily use both the walkman and radio (again, good signals in our area).
Overall I am very happy with this phone. I have upgraded to web use and find this functional and fun even with the smaller screen.
For the price a GREAT deal.
The good: Best prices, quality digital sound and reception, quality phones, and store locations.
The bad: Customer service, wish they would speak better english, but they try.
Summary: I was with cingular (at&t) and verizon, they overly priced and overly rated.I am with sprint pcs now,and I think they are great,no problems, but the best part is best prices, you can save alot of money $$$$,and have good service.
The good: Unlimited minutes!!! LOW price - great service
The bad: limited calling area
Summary: Quality service for low cost... no contracts - no problems... no more counting minutes or wondering if it is past 7:00 or not!!! Free long distance... free 411 calls. I love this company! Would recommend it to anyone who doesn't travel alot.
The good: Very low cost. Works just fine all over San Diego. Online addition of minutes also worked fine. This is all with a motorola phone.
The bad: High minute cost, but that's not a problem for me, because I use very few minutes.
Summary: At least with my Motorola phone it's been problem free, both in coverage and in adding minutes.
The good: cheap for people like me who rarely use their cell phone and/or only want a phone for emergencies; also good for people like my friend who tend to lose things; promo codes abound - try promo code/deal sites on the web
The bad: high per-minute unit cost
Summary: According to a major online information site, Tracfone is based in Miami, Fla. However, they are in the process of outsourcing their customer service functions to Argentina, Bolivia, Honduras, Colombia, Guatemala, Belize, and the Philippines. Maybe this is why some people have had problems, although I myself had not. I wrote them because I didn't like my assigned phone number (too many collection calls for previous number-holder). They wrote back the next day and told me how to call to get that done. The customer service rep was very pleasant and changed it for me over the phone. I did have to punch in what seemed like over a hundred digits, and he kept feeding them to me one or two at a time - it got really tedious and annoying after a while. But it worked right away.
The good: I love that this phone has lasted through many drops and accedental tosses! It's easy to use, and takes very nice pictures.
The bad: settings options. Maybe too simplified for me...I'm to clumsy for technology ;}
Summary: I wish I could personalise the settings more. example - the only way to turn the 'entering or exiting service area alert/tone' off is to make the whole phone silent.I can't figure out how to get my pictures from my phone to my comp. without emailing them??? I still love my phone!! The service is exelent too...
All in all, I really can't complain about the service I'm getting from U S Cellular. A bit higher in price than what I like. In our area we have 3 or 4 stores, so the reception one gets, depends on which store and which individual you get to talk to.
The good: compact, easy=to-use. much less bulky than the treo or the palm
The bad: lacks infared. limits its' use in real estate when showing homes.
Summary: I love it, but its' lack of infared means I have to carry an extra piece of equipment whick bulks up my pockets.
The good: Size, style, 1.3 megapixel camera, music player, blue tooth, durability and price.
The bad: Battery life compared to previous Samsung is not as good, but has more features to drain the battery. Non-customizable shortcuts.
Summary: I have always been a big fan of Samsung because of the quality and durability. This phone is yet another great Samsung phone packed full of features and I got it free from my carrier.
The good: Inexpensive--no surprises, no bills, website & email specials
The bad: Cutomer service wait time--slow, hard to understand service
Summary: I've had TracFones for myself, wife & daughter for 3 years--much cheaper to go this way, and it limits my daughter--I give her a set amount of minutes, and she has too pay for any more. I always get bonus minute deals, and always use their website to add minutes. It is a breeze, if you pay attention to what you are doing. Screw up, and you get to spend a good hour on the phone with customer service. Service puts you on hold for at least 20 minutes just to get an operator--then it is a tediuos process. It sounds like you are talking to someone in a crowded submarine, although I will give them credit for always being polite and patient, and they have given me free minutes for delays, and have always taken care of any issue I have had. The phones have worked great, no charge to activate, and are very clear and seem to work anywhere there is cellular service. I will stay with TracFone, I hear way too many stories of people getting outrageous monthly bills, especially with kids. TracFone now offers a family service, which looks interesting. Research the different phones and deals they have on the website. They have a great deal on a camera phone right now, and it is a very good phone.(Motorolla C139).
The good: great MP3 phone,downloadable music,ringtones,games,dual display,Stereo earbuds inc.,charges in 2.5 hours.
The bad: sometimes ring not loud enough.
Summary: I really like this phone. Its fully featured in a compact flip design. Its Bluetooth compatible,Internet ready, easy to grasp menus and features.lots of storage available w/MM2,2Mpixel camera,it does everything!
The good: HANDY, LONG LASTING, USER FRIENDLY!
The bad: MONOPHONIC.
Summary: EASY TO USE.. BEEN USING MINE FOR 4 YEARS NOW. GOT RAN OVER BY A CAR BUT STILL WORKS. DROPPED AT THE POOL THRICE AND STILL WORKS!
The good: Large screen, mobile internet, speaker phone, voice dialing, camera, outer screen display, downloadable ringtones, text messaging, phonebook, picture messaging
The bad: none
Summary: I love my Kyocera Cyclops. I used to have a Motorola V170 that had a small screen, no mobile internet, no special functions whatsoever, and this is a MAJOR improvement. It has everything I ever need/wanted in a cell phone. I can even talk to my friends/family members that have Yahoo! Messenger or AOL Instant Messenger straight from my phone. I can also check my AOL or Yahoo! e-mail. I couldn't be happier with it. I recommend it for people who want "everything but the kitchen sink" out of a cell phone. The only thing it doesn't have is a touch screen, but who really needs that on a phone? It is a PHONE, not a PC. It also has a noise for everything...literally...if you open it, it makes a noise, you close it, a different one...you plug the charger in, a noise...you take a picture, a noise...you get the idea. Like I said, I love it.
The good: excellent service, customer service (both in store and phone)is excellent and reliable phones.
The bad: none
Summary: I would recommend Verizon Wireless over AT&T (Cingular) and Sprint. I have service where these other providers have none and both in store customer service and 800-customer service handles problems right the first time. As I told one AT&T customer service recently (as I have them for my home phone service, ISP and satellite service) as she tried to convince me to switch, you folks may have more towers here in CT, but I have service where you folks don't have service and am treated like a valued customer.
The good: They work diligently to help their customers who pay their bill on time and regularly.
The bad: A few dropped calls and couldn't call long distance from Little Rock Arkansas, maybe it was the mountains.
Summary: I have been a T-mobile customer since 2005. They definitely have the most minutes for the dollar. I have never had a problem with a customer service representative. As a matter of fact, my dad died recently and I knew that I was going to go over my minutes by making arrangements for relatives to come in from out of town. So I called customer service to see what they could do. Not only was the representative very sympathetic about my loss, she also gave me 100 bonus minutes which are good for 6 months. She also signed me up for the mobile to mobile plan (which I can drop at anytime) and back dated the plan so that added an extra 300 minutes to my account. AND this is not the only time they have helped me in this way.

I have been with Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T when they were still Southwestern Bell and they never did anything to help me with my account and every discrepancy was always my fault. For my money it's T-mobile all the way.

The good: Great UI! Great Camera and flash! Great inbox! great battery life! Great all around!
The bad: a little cramped keyboard. the keyboard should slide down further!
Summary: This is my favorite phone and i have had the sidekick 2 and the samsung t809 and the motorola v600... and the nokia 7370 and the 7390!
The good: Battery life! There is no longer a need to pack my Ipod.
The bad: The stupid phone case and Get a screen protector for this phone. It scratches very easy.
Summary: I've had many many phones with Sprint. I swore I would never buy another Samsung after the a900 (battery life sucks on that phone). So I stuck with Sanyo, until the upstage came out. This is by far the best phone Samsung has ever put out. It does take some getting comfortable with all the features.
The good: ease of use, hold's tons of music, doesn't feel flimsy, feels like qualitiy, great reliability.
The bad: discontinued already as all do. Text messaging, I do miss the itaps of motorola brand phones offer, but there are ways around that.
Summary: This is the best phone I've ever had. Some bad reviews have said bad things about the music abilities of this phone. If you have a brain and can use a computer, just get a Micro SD chip, they are cheap, and throw all the songs on there you want, I load mine with tons of songs with no problem. As long as you understand this song plays wma sound files like windows media player, which is why they want you to sync your phone to windows media player. Just connect your SD card to your computer, like any external drive, and paste all the songs you want. I've had no problems with mine at all. You can listen to your music with no special adapters, with nothing like speaker phone, or with your regular earbud. Camera is decent for it being a cell phone, but remember, its a cell phone not a camera, its a phone not an mp3 player. This phone has the best overall selection of options with the reliability unlike all of the other phones I've owned!
