I was originally with MCI until Verizon bought them out. That's how long I've been with them 20+ years. I live in a rural area where there is minimal coverage. I even bought their extender. (Hah what a joke that was) The last phones I bought from them were the LG G3. This was on their recommendation. The G3's did not have advanced calling on them. So I spent the next 24 months in calling hell. Guess what, none of the tech people on the phone or in any of their stores could figure it out until I paid the phones off. They then wanted me to buy new phones that would do WiFi calling and should pay them some more money to continue with their lousy service. I went to T-Mobile while continuing for a month more of Verizon service. When they wanted to tell me how bad T-Mobile service was I had my fact in hand. I went all the places I normally do: Verizon in the one stretch of the road I travel (3.50 miles)twice a day-call dropped 4 times. T-Mobile once. When I get to the end of my street if I make a right or left turn- Verizon always drops call. T-Mobile didn't. I loved it when I was trying to tell my neighbor about T-Mobile from my Verizon phone the call dropped 4 times during the 5 minute call. I waited till I got my T-Mobile phone to tell her more about T-Mobile and the phone didn't drop once. I wanted to do a commercial for Verizon, (remember the can you hear me now?) Only my ending was different from theirs. mine was he** no. I loved it, when I called Verizon to tell them I was cancelling with them, while the gentleman was telling me why I should stay the call dropped. He called me back and I said, oh this is why you were saying I should stay with you because with T-Mobile I would have dropped calls? Even with a bad phone which they are replacing I have only had 2 dropped calls with T-Mobile in the month with them. No call I made with Verizon did not result with a least 1 dropped call. I have found the people at T-Mobile to be amazing. They are always happy to talk to you and are very welcoming. I found this to be a hit and miss thing with their customer care at Verizon. In fact when I was cancelling the different lines with them some were down right nasty. I had 4 of us on my plan. Verizon gets offended when you want to leave. They expect you to stay, even though they cost more, service sucks, which they do apologize for quite nicely for. (they don't fix it just apologize for it) I had the opportunity to speak with a gentleman at T-Mobile named David who is probably the nicest person I have had the pleasure to deal with in my 64 years. My brother who was also with Verizon wrote a letter to the CEO. He did get a reply back. The CEO said we are sorry we cost more for less services but we are going to charge you $73.00 more than T-Mobile a month anyway. Both of were 20+ year customers who paid on time. They never had to chase us for money but we have to beg for the services we paid for to work. I urge people out there to try out T-Mobile. Do what I did keep your service with Verizon and try T-Mobile. I went from paying $157.37 with 6 gigs of data to $100.00 with 2 new phones and 2 new phones with T-Mobile.
I find myself charging it twice a day, compared to my old edge 7, I much prefer the edge 7 over battery life. No update on the Areo 8.0 in the UK either which also sucks. Phone is a good all round phone but canny help dis the phone for the battery life. Should be able to cut out the apps we don't use for life of battery, them just being there I think kills it. For the expensive of the phone they should have sorted battery life, they put 3600 in the edge but failed to do the seem in the s8, phones are meant to be better than the old phones are they not? Time to get with the time Samsung, more battery power please!!!
I visited the Providence Place Mall Metro PCS, to purchase a phone for my son. I had Kyle help with my purchase, he was absoulty fabulous&helped me in such a friendly and warm manner. Had an issue with the phone&brought it back&Kyle helped me again&tried to fix the issue with the phone,Kyle couldn't so he gave me another cell for my son&set it all up and made sure everything was working properly.. I have not seen a smart phone camera to date that compares to the s8 main camera. It is without a doubt the best camera in a smart phone i've ever seen to date. The pics it can take are amazing and just as good as my $5000 camera i use for professional photography. It blows away apple in my opinion, Yes apple has some decent phones but ISO is not quite a computer if you ask me they can't be plugged into any PC without having to download itunes which comes with malware that you don't know your installing on your PC and can damage some pc's. It also installs some other apps you don't know your getting that can cause serious issues with system settings in the PC if its not an apple. Androids can be plugged into any PC without a problem with no software to clog up your PC. The processor is killer, 4 gig off ram! And I was sold on the camera immediately. Being in a dark room or outside at night the pictures are crystal clear and can be adjusted with the pro setting it can take some time to figure out if you are not a photographer but still very user friendly.The battery is OK but if you don't have a app killer constantly killing background apps it will drain your battery pretty quick. But this can be controlled, Power battery is my most recommended app killer that keeps apps closed and keeps tabs on the battery. It really does not need any cleaner apps since one is built in. I can't wait for the s9 to come out they are both going to be around the same price? the s8 and s9 at least for a while. I give the s8 5 stars!!!
I've never been more upset with my phone. Got my 2nd replacement yesterday and today having even worst problems. The power button won't register and allow me to wake my phone. I had missed two called because my phone won't wake up. 3 phones all together. But luckily cricket is sending me a brand new phone this time. No referbished. We shall see.
Compared to the Stylo 3 and 3 Plus dinner screen and tinnier audio quality Samsung Galaxy Perx J7 Perx is a gem. I'd prefer 32-64 GB storage but beyond that, BEAUTIFUL!
i made a plan to buy a phone with one of the employees there named Jacob. it was over the span of 3-4 days because of my financial situation. i was able to purchase a phone and whilst we moved through the transaction and the phone migration process (as i was coming from a different service) he was able to keep me engaged and talk to me about just about anything.it didnt feel like i was making a transaction, it felt like i was having a conversation with a friend.
I lost my iPhone 7 and AT&T wanted $650 to replace it. I bought this phone at Walmart for $39.00. It looks like my iPhone, has all the functions of my iPhone, is just as fast as my iPhone. Quite frankly I don't know why anyone would pay $650 for an iPhone when they can get this one for $39.

My parents bought this new Iphone X as my Christmas gift, which means I have used this Iphone X for more than two mouth. After I get familiar with all the features of this Iphone X, I can totally make an objective review now. Appearance The appearance of Iphone X is astonishing. I have to admit that the full-screen design used in Iphone X is genius. It make Iphone X not only visually appealing but also outstanding comparing to other Iphones. Traditional Features Traditional features like picture viewing, music, and camera still maintain the characteristics that Apple’s products used to have. Photo taking is the best among all the smart phones. The user do not need to be worried about picture stretching because of the double camera. It also can even change different lights and modes when taking photos. After all, the quality of the photos taken by Iphone X is almost the same as a simple SLR camera. The screen and picture viewing are almost perfect. The light sent out by the screen is smooth and relaxing. After staring at the Iphone X’s screen for a long time, your eyes will not get tired as staring other smart phones and electronic product. When I just get this Iphone X, I was in trouble with choosing home screen picture because all the pictures looks appealing in Iphone X’s screen. Using Iphone X to listen to music is also relaxing. The sound is smooth and easy to breakthrough rooms. Because of the sounding system of this Iphone X, I start to take my headphone every time I go out. Face ID & Animoji Face ID and Animoji are the two newest features introduced in Iphone X. Both of them are based on a camera analyzing users’ faces. For Face ID, users do not need to input password to unlock the screen, instead, they only need to stare at the screen for half second. Animoji also use this kind of camera to stimulate your face expression into different emojis. Based on my experience, Animoji is funny and make texting more fun. Face ID is useful. It can easily recognize your face without a mistake. However, this feature actually is a little bit of annoying. The Iphone X only encourage their user to set Face ID as the way to unlock screen. If you do not use Face ID to unlock screen, the information of your lock screen notifications are easily to be exposed. Summary Iphone X is extraordinary. I recommend this smart phone to everybody, especially those who use smart phone very often and love to use smart phone to take pictures and selfies. I know the price of Iphone X is hard to accept, but it is totally worth it if you wish to use a perfect smart phone.
My name is Deshanaye Alexander and I created this account just so I can let T-mobile know how FANTASTIC of a customer service rep they have. I have went through many reps the past couple of days. I had finished paying off my leases and wanted to get a new phone and also wanted to add a line to my current plan. Not one person I spoke to before Kristina could give me the right answer. I spoke to people both in the Tmobile store and over the phone and I was getting told different things. I called this morning and I got Kristina as my representative. I explained my situation, I explained what I thought didn't make sense and she understood. She took the time out of her morning to go through several motions to make sure I have got the right deal. She found out what the problem was and she MADE SURE that she FIXED IT! She got the job done promptly. She was very respectful and wanted to make sure she could do everything she needed to help me out. After the results....BOY DID SHE REALLY HELP ME OUT! Kristina was the ONLY one that was able to figure out what the issue was. She did not try to argue with me, she did not tell me that I was wrong...she simply listened to what my issue was and fixed it. If it wasn't for Kristina I probably would not be a customer with Tmobile anymore. I would love to speak to more representatives like her! SHE REALLY NEEDS A PROMOTION OR NEEDS TO BE A MANAGER ASAP! She is great in so many ways that I can't explain and I can't thank her enough for what she has done for me and my family. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH Kristina. If anyone has an issue, BELIEVE ME she would get it done. I have never wrote a review about a representative and she did so much for me I couldn't go without acknowledging her greatness. The best phone l've had. Battery life is excellent and just the right amount of apps. Nothing complicated about this phone,it's Android at its best. Good display and sound is spot-on for anyone with a hearing disability. Not a phone for phone geeks who need their phone for making the tea but an honest phone that does it all and reliably. Samsung have got it absolutely right.
The IPhone X is a great phone, but for being an all screen phone something that Apple is new too, they have some bugs to workout, not a lot of major issues, but when on a call and trying to do other things it gets a little laggy, besides that the phone has done amazing with a few of my test, the camera is one of the best i have come across, the live pictures are pretty cool, but the phone is glitchy, just a few things Apple needs to work on, nothing big.
The battery life is fine. The apps are fine. The reception not so much, but I know that is the fault of Verizon, because we have never gotten good reception where we live. The notch doesn't bother me, though I suppose it would be cooler without. What I love about the X is the feel of the phone. It feels like silk under my fingers, as I shift from app to app to off to on. Everything is smooth; there are no abrupt movements, no clicks or stops. I feel like I am using a machine from science fiction, not a mechanical object. Because of that, the X is addictive. I might not even want to look something up, send an email or text or, god forbid, answer the phone. I just want to feel my fingers sliding across the smooth, lovely glass. It is even more surreal when I use the Airpods with it. Now it magically sends signals to my ears. I am in love.
After having the phone for About a month, I’ve fallen in love with it, the a11 chip is incredible and the phone is really fast, one look and it’s unlocked, I upgraded from the iPhone 6S and I love how the size of my phone is just a little bit bigger but the screen is so much larger! The speakers are incredible and I love that I don’t have to worry about getting it wet, I don’t really miss my headphone jack at all, sometimes when I do need To listen to something with earbuds I have wireless earbuds, for those who use one set of earbuds often, I suggest tapping the dongle to the headphones, all in all don’t listen to all that crap on YouTube if this phone is in your budget then I 100% recommend it, if you want the same specs for a bit cheaper, then go for the 8+ is almost the same just without the bells and whistles
I am writing this review in order for potential consumers to understand how well made and underrated this phone is. I have had the Pixel 2 for over a month now and I will say that this phone is simply fantastic, the camera is the best camera I've seen in a smartphone to date, the duel front-facing speakers are spectacular, and to quickly summarize, this phone is smart! One last thing I will add is that the built-in Google Assistant is actually useful! (Hint, Hint, Siri isn't) I find myself using it several times a day in order to quickly pull up information that I need or to answer any questions I may have! In conclusion, if any of this information interests you, I would highly suggest getting the Pixel 2!
I highly recommend this phone. I used to have an iPhone 6 and it would just shut off and the battery life was terrible, so then I decided to switch to the phone my father had which is a one plus 3T this phone's battery life is unbelievable it will last me over a day, the screen is a perfect size, the camera takes beautiful pictures, and if I were you I would buy this phone right now!!
I know the s8 has been out since April and I'm saying this kind of late, but it is the best phone on the market. The battery last me all day on a single charge after having it for several months. I love the design. People say it's hard to reach the fingerprint sensor but I don't have any problem with it. I do have big hands so it is easier to reach the sensor. For me it has been incredibly durable. I like it better than any iPhone I have ever had. I miss the Apple App store. I like it better than Google play, but the s8 is overall the better phone. I know the new google pixel has a better camera and the iPhone X has... well.. you know it's the iPhone X. I personally have not been impressed with iPhone X. The s8 is almost around $400 cheaper and I feel like it's a better phone. I personally feel like the only phone better than the s8 might be the Note 8.
Sad if it was not for the fact that it does not have a 3.5mm port I would have bought the phone..... The price is not bad at all. The water resistant is a plus and the pictures are really nice.
