Last week, a leaked photo surfaced that appeared to show an unannounced Motorola Android phone with a front fingerprint reader. Now a new image that may show the same thing has leaked.
Evan Blass has posted an image of what he calls a “Moto G4 Plus.” The image doesn’t show much, including only what looks to be the chin of a phone. What we can see is a square with rounded edges that looks similar to the chin of the aforementioned Motorola phone that leaked last week.

Blass doesn’t say anything about the image except for the name, but it’s possible that the square shown in this leaked mage is a fingerprint reader. Not only does it have a metal edge around its perimeter like most other smartphone fingerprint readers, but it appears to be in the middle of the device’s chin, where many other phone makers place their fingerprint readers.
If this is indeed a new Motorola phone, it’ll mark a bit of a design change from last year’s devices like the Moto G and Moto X Pure Edition, which each feature a speaker below their displays. Unfortunately, we don’t have much more info about this Moto G4 Plus right now, so we’ll have to wait to see what else Motorola has packed into it.
