AT&T today kicked off a Buy One, Get One Free deal, and it’s available to some pretty nice smartphones.
The AT&T website advertises the deal as being available on AT&T’s “most popular smartphones,” and it highlights the Samsung Galaxy S6. That’s not the only phone that’s available, though, as you can also get the Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy S6 active, and Galaxy Note 5.
If iOS is more your thing, AT&T has confirmed to MacRumors that the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are included in the deal as well. They’re not advertised, possibly because of a deal with Apple, but you should be able to get either the 6s or 6s Plus as part of the deal if you want one.
This BOGO deal works like this: You need to get both devices on AT&T Next, and the free model is covered by 30 bill credits of $21.67 each, which totals $650. Those bill credits will be applied within 3 bills. You’ll need a Mobile Share Value plan of at least $70 per month on both phones, and if you cancel service, you’ll owe the balance of the phone.
Since you’re going to be locked into AT&T for 30 months to get these phones for free, you should probably only take advantage of the deal if you plan on sticking with Big Blue for the foreseeable future. If that’s the case, this BOGO deal is a nice way for you and a loved one to each get a solid smartphone for the cost of just one device.
AT&T’s BOGO promo will run through December 31.
