Nokia is continuing to tease its new Lumia 928 this morning, this time posting a video showing how the upcoming device's video capture performance compares with the Samsung Galaxy S III and Apple iPhone 5. Unsurprisingly, Nokia's testing has its new Lumia come out on top, showing greater saturation and sharper focus over the iPhone 5 as well as less video noise than the footage captured by the Galaxy S III.
In addition to its comparison video, Nokia has also posted an official image showing the Lumia 928 in both black and white. The phone looks just like it did in the leaked renders that we saw in recent months, sporting corners that are more squared than its Lumia 920 sibling. We can see a "Verizon Wireless" network name on the device's home screen up above, and Nokia has also confirmed that the Lumia 928 packs an 8.7-megapixel PureView camera.
There's nothing terribly shocking to be found in Nokia's latest teasers for the Lumia 928 thanks to all of the times that the phone has leaked lately. Still, it's nice to be getting official information about the device straight from Nokia rather than various leakers. Nokia still hasn't divulged two of the most important details about the Lumia 928, though, which are its launch date and price. Here's to hoping that that info comes along soon so that Verizon customers can know when they'll be able to put an end to the leaks and teases and actually get the 928 in their hands.
