It looks like Motorola and Verizon are slated to continue their tradition of offering DROID RAZR smartphones in a multitude of color options. According to an image shared by @evleaks on Twitter, the two companies are prepping blue versions of the DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR M. Both devices look fairly similar to the models that are already available, save for the new blue coloring around the edges. A larger image of the phones is available in the gallery at the bottom of this post.
After originally introducing the first DROID RAZR in black, Motorola and Verizon proceeded to launch white, blue, purple and cranberry versions of the device. More recently, the DROID RAZR M has been receiving some new colors of its own, including white and pink as well as a Best Buy-exclusive platinum variant. That's why it wouldn't be a surprise to see Motorola and Verizon officially announce new blue versions of the DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR M in the near future to revitalize interest in the two models.
In addition to these new blue RAZR models, the image from @evleaks includes a look at the front of an "employee edition" DROID RAZR M. Verizon has created special edition DROID RAZR models for its employees in the past, including versions of the DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR HD, that feature red and black kevlar on their backsides. This special employee edition of the DROID RAZR M appears to already be out in the wild, as one unit recently sold on eBay for $270. You can check that sale out right here for a peek at the phone's rear.
