Heads up, Verizon customers. Today the folks at Big Red announced the list of Android devices on its roster that are currently expected to receive an update to Android 4.0, better known as Ice Cream Sandwich. Some of the devices have already been confirmed to be receiving an upgrade to ICS by their respective manufacturers, but Verizon has decided to make things a bit easier for its customers by compiling all of its devices that it expects to see the update in one handy list. Here's how the whole thing breaks down:
HTC
Motorola
Samsung
LG
Not a bad list of devices, right? Unfortunately for the folks that own them, Verizon hasn't said exactly when these updates will begin rolling out. The only device that we've got an idea about when it'll see ICS is the LG Spectrum, as it was revealed when the device was announced that an upgrade is expected to be available in the first half of this year. Still, I suppose knowing that you'll be getting a bump up to Android 4.0 at some point is better than not knowing or being told that you won't see any update at all. How many of you have one of the devices on Verizon's ICS upgrade list?
