HTC and Verizon initially released the DROID Incredible back in April, and the phone has been backordered just about ever since.  Enter today, August 16th, where Verizon finally has the device in stock and available for purchase on its website.  Considering the Incredible is rumored to get the upgrade to Android 2.2 on August 18th, I'd say Verizon and HTC picked a good time to finally make the device available to its customers.  Whether it was coincidence or fate, all that matters is that the Incredible is available.  Scurry on over to Verizon's site now if you're planning on picking up one for yourself.

Four months and one screen shortage later, we're finally able to buy a DROID Incredible from Verizon without having to wait days or weeks for the device to actually be delivered.  Considering that the handset is still one of the most capable in Verizon's lineup, I'd say that Big Red will have no trouble moving whatever Incredibles that they end up getting in stock.  So now that its finally, really available, how many of you are planning on snagging a DROID Incredible?
