Now that the BlackBerry Torch is out and its leaks are over, we have to move on to speculating about a different RIM device. How about the 9670? Today we've got the news that the BlackBerry 9670 and its clamshell form factor will be heading to Sprint in the next "couple months." The news, confirmed by Boy Genius Report, contradicts what we've heard in the past, which is that the 9670 would be a Verizon exclusive device. BGR has also received photos of Sprint-branded 9670s from multiple sources, adding credence to their claim.
We've seen several BlackBerry devices hit Sprint first with Verizon following shortly after, so this news isn't much of a surprise. Whether you feel the 9670 is the worst-looking BlackBerry ever or it's your next device, you have to admit that it's good to see RIM continue to try out new form factors. Sure, they had a Pearl Flip in the past, but this one has a full QWERTY keyboard and an optical trackpad! So, are any of you BBerry lovers planning on picking up the 9670 when it lands in the next couple of months?
