Do you watch Netflix on the go? If you do it on a recent Samsung phone or tablet, you may now have a better viewing experience.
Netflix has officially added many Samsung phones and tablets to its list of devices that support HD playback, plus another handful of models that officially support HDR10 playback, too.
Some of the notable additions include the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra gaining HDR and HDR10 support; the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Note 10+ adding HDR10 support; and the Galaxy Z Flip officially adding support for HDR and HDR10 viewing. Netflix also added the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite to its list of HD-compatible devices, even though it hasn't officially been announced by Samsung yet.
As noted by Android Police, many of these devices probably already supported HD and HDR10 on Netflix, but the streaming video company is just now getting around to updating its compatibility lists. Still, it's good to get official confirmation from Netflix that all of these phones and tablets are certified for its HD and HDR10 video streaming.
