Apple Arcade got a new pricing option today, and it can save you some cash.

You can now sign up for a year of Apple Arcade for $49.99 ($59.99 in Canada, €49.99 in Europe, £49.99 in the UK) in addition to the $4.99 per month option (via iFun.de). Signing up for a year at once can save you $10 over the course of the year compared to paying monthly.

The new yearly option is available to new and existing Apple Arcade subscribers. To get it, launch the App Store, tap on your avatar in the upper right corner, then select "Subscriptions", followed by "Apple Arcade".

With Apple Arcade, you get access to a library of more than 100 games that you can play on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and mac OS. There are no ads or in-app purchases, and you can download games for offline play. You'll also get access for up to six family members when signing up for the service and it works with Screen Time and parental controls.

It's good to see another Apple Arcade subscription option. With this yearly subscription, you're basically getting two months for free, so it's definitely worth considering if you know that you're going to be doing a lot of mobile gaming.
