Verizon Customer Review

Posted on: September 5th, 2006 by Danny Ton

The good: -Good in metropolitan areas, high signals even through tunnels.-Offers good phones and deals, plan prices are fair and kiosks provide excellent service. The bad: -Bad in more rural city areas, dropped calls, no signal indoors.Summary: Verizon offers many different phones at great prices. In addition, they offer great customer service and service plans. The signal quality is great in the city, but isn't as good in non-metropolitan areas, but it is still decent. I would recommend the carrier to a friend based on where they live and how they travel.

Verizon Wireless service for Pittsburgh and surrounding counties

Posted on: September 5th, 2006 by David Clawson

The good: Within city limits the service is fairly reliable. However, once you hit the south hills it begins to fade. The bad: I frequently travel to Somerset and Cambria county and the service in those areas is practically non-exsisted. I lose calls, can't ever get service, or the service is so bad I can't hear the person on the other end but for every 3rd or 4th word. Summary: Verizon services seems to be farily dependable in city areas but lacks dependability in more rural areas.

Beats all others in local connectivity

Posted on: September 5th, 2006 by E. Tims

The good: No other cell provider that I have found will connect properly near my neighborhood. The bad: A little more pricey than other companies, but they don't work here.Summary: All my neighbors have Verizon. We've tried Nokia and Cingular, but they have no service once you enter my neighborhood. The hills and valleys must cut off the reception. However, Verizon does have service here! Their towers must be closer or something. Anyway, sound is clear and I don't often get disconnected.

Verizon

Posted on: September 5th, 2006 by Anonymous

The good: It have found good signal strength most of the time and voice quality is good. The bad: I have had a few dropped calls.Summary: I have been with Verizon for 2 and a half years now. The customer service has been great whenever I had questions or problems they answered the 800 number quickly and resolved things quickly.Phone service has been great except when I go to remote areas. I'm sure I would have problems with other carriers in remote areas so I'm not complaining about it.Price is reasonable and I get a good free phone every 2 years so I recommend Verizon.

Good Coverage and minimal dropped calls

Posted on: September 2nd, 2006 by Brian Turner

The good: Free calling between Verizon customersThe bad: Spotty service in So. IL, but all companies are spotty down there.Summary: I really like our company. Our previous company didnt have great customer service. Just renewed our plan with Verizon for the third time. With most of our family with Verizon the free calling between Verizon customers works great for the budget.

Verizon Wireless Ann Arbor, Mi

Posted on: August 31st, 2006 by Alex Jaffe

The good: Verizon seems to be the strongest signal I've experienced in the area. People I've come into contact with here use Verizon mostly -- so your 'network' will be large. The bad: I live in a basement level, so my service is terrible when I am in my apartment. Going by the window helps.Summary: I very rarely get dropped calls or bad connections. The majority of the people I know use Verizon in Ann Arbor, so I would recommend this service here.

Verizon in a small town

Posted on: August 31st, 2006 by Travis Stephens

The good: Large coverage area. The bad: Not quite large enough yet.Summary: Overall I'm happy with my verizon service. Although I would like to get better coverage in my area. I live in a small town and am often without service near my house, also I get a large number of dropped calls. But with that being said, I know that it would be worse with any other carrier. Verizon has the largest area and the only one I'd consider going with in my area.

Can't Hear Anybody NOW!

Posted on: August 31st, 2006 by Anonymous

The good: Cheap family planThe bad: Poor service. Many areas with no service at all.Summary: There are many areas where service is unavailable. The calls are dropped driving down the interstate where "everybody" should get a signal. Forget about getting calls inside a retail store. Just isn't going to happen.
