Worst experience with customer service ever

Posted on: September 25th, 2013 by Khyla Baumhardt

I purchased the iphone5 throught tmobile.com and soon discovered that I had no service within my employer (located within a metropolitan area) I returned the phone within the 14 day grace period. I was due a refund within 3-30 days. I was told 4 different dates by 4 different reps. All who told me that they were taking notes so if I ever had to call again I wouldn't have to re explain the situation (that was a lie) Even after filing a complaint with the BBB, that still didn't get them to expedite my refund. Numerous reps promised to follow up with my request and they didn't. I was transferred finally to who I was told was a manager and she was the rudest of them all. To this day, I still haven't received my money back.

Worst Company Ever

Posted on: September 24th, 2013 by Alex Evang

Customer service it's terrible, they never solve a complaint until I went to BBB, and even then they do not assume any responsibility over their services. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company. Signal its very weak outside metropolitan areas, 3G or 4G its even worse. When you call this company for a complaint, they will keep sending from one person to another.

can't even describe the trouble I go through monthly with this shit show company

Posted on: September 23rd, 2013 by Holly Welwood

I've been with T-Mobile for longer then I care to mention, and go through headache after headache EVERY single month with my phone bill. Each month there is new mysterious cost, or change in my plan. The changes that are made make my phone bill the least optimal value plan ever which no conscious person would EVER consent too. Every single time I talk to a representative (in store or on the phone) I get a different story as to the explanation for the extra fees or changes to my bill. I'm so fucking fed up. I've stayed with T-mobile because of their flexibility of services to make up my phone plan (ie:paying less for services I know I won't use, such as unlimited data). If flexibility also means that they can add or change shit on my bill whenever they want, then I am out. I'm considering paying early terminations fees just so I don't have to deal with these guys anymore. T-Mobile is known for their GOD AWFUL customer service, coverage etc. so what the hell are they doing about it? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, and seem to be getting worse every year. I'm advising everyone I know to pay the extra money and open a plan with another phone provider (you'll end up paying extra with T-mobile eventually, they will find a way to fuck you over).

Great value, Great customer service, Good coverage in populated areas

Posted on: September 17th, 2013 by A W

I called customer service today and was reminded why I stayed with T-Mobile for 15 years so I am writing a review. Even when I want to be mad at them, they pull through and fix my issue. I probably call once a year with a question or issue and every time they answer it knowledgeably and quickly. Even 14 years ago when first traveled abroad with a phone, they didn't try and sell me an expensive international plan, they just gave me the unlock codes and told me to get a SIM card. Coverage can be rough if you are off main routes. TMobile does **not** have the best coverage. If you want coverage, pay the extra money for Verizon or go with a local/regional carrier in your area. I view TMo as somewhere between a low cost Virgin mobile with urban only coverage and Verizon. They do well in populated areas and main interstates. (better than AT&T in the northeast) Assume you will need a really large hill to get coverage in Vermont if you are going to a small town!

Lies and more lies by omission

Posted on: September 3rd, 2013 by David Jackson

As a visitor from Australia I was assured by the rep. that the coverage would be good throughout my tour area except national parks. A damned lie and a waste of money and a lot of anger. Damn them. David Jackson from Australia

HORRIBLE

Posted on: August 30th, 2013 by Madalyn Budd

Well a big fuck you to Tmobile. They have royally screwed me over in countless ways for the past 2 years. Just lost all of my contacts because the moron tech guy told me to reset my phone saying I wouldn't lose anything, and I still did. This was seriously the last straw, I'm paying the early termination fee just so that I don't have to deal with their BULLSHIT ever again.

horrid! absolutely horrid service!

Posted on: August 26th, 2013 by David Moore

I've been stuck using T Mobile service for a while now, there's nobody else in our area that provides decent service for a cheap price, however with T Mobile I have now gone through three phones, countless aggravated calls to customer service who don't speak very good English, hours of talking to robots, and reception, I don't think T Mobile understands the idea of reception whatsoever they claim they're 4G is the fastest ever, my dialup works faster than this piece of crap phone that they gave me. I would never ever ever recommend t-mobile to anyone not even to a toddler. The absolute worst service I've ever had from any kind of business. Their service representatives are worthless their coverage is pathetic and their prices are outrageous. Do not use this provider if you can avoid it.

Bought 10 day prepaid sim for use on vacation.

Posted on: August 22nd, 2013 by Fraser Magee

Visiting Vegas from Canada. Bought a prepaid sim card to use. T-Mobiles data network is slow as sh:t. They broadcasted emergency cell notifications constantly. The only good thing is that text messages worked. Glad I don't rely on T-Mobile as my everyday provider. Rogers has them beat 1000times over. Try AT&T next time. You suck tmo
