Service quality SUCKS.

Posted on: October 5th, 2013 by Karina Pennett

I've had T mobile as a provider under my parents since I was thirteen ( I am now 18 years old, as of September), and all I can possibly say about their terrible service is this: DO NOT GET IT. The phones are nice. The prices, mediocre. The customer service gets a solid C rating. But the reason you buy a phone and a package is to call and send text messages, and T Mobile just does not have the adequate service to meet this requirement. Slowly over the past year and a half, I've noticed that I can no longer send text messages (the bar says its on one or two, but really there is no service) or recieve/send calls unless I am in big cities. I live in the La area, which you would think would be enough of a big area to provide coverage, but aparently it is not, because my phone will not recieve or send anything while I am within 20 miles of my home. That is utter bullshit. If you want a good provider, check out verizon, att, ANYTHING BUT TMOBILE. None of my friends with other providers ever have any problems with their phones. I'm getting off of my parents plan, and buying my own from them. If your shopping around for a new provider i highly discourage getting a plan from this company.

It was a pleasure

Posted on: October 5th, 2013 by Kathy Banta

Tonight my husband and I went to Tmobile in Apple Valley and were greeted with friendly service. The gentleman that helped us, Antonio, was friendly, upbeat, informative and made our experience with purchasing a new plan enjoyable. My husband always asks tons of questions and Antonio answered them all, some twice, with patience. Thank you, Antonio for such a pleasant experience. Kathy B

Customer Service Improvements & More

Posted on: October 4th, 2013 by Cody B

It may just be luck, but the last 3 times I've spoken with T-Mobile, I've gotten nice, friendly, and knowledgeable; however, one of the times I believe the time before the last, one of the customer service reps forgot to back-date something that they said they were going to. I had just gotten off the phone with customer service, approximately, less than 60 minutes ago, and the employee who goes by Andrew E (74637) did an excellent jobs and he was as following: Friendly, Punctuate, Knowledgeable, and Thorough; possibly the best employee of T-Mobile I've ever had the pleasure of communicating with to get a billing issue sorted out; keep in mind that I was having a severe panic attack during and before the call as well, and he was still able to do his job like every customer service employee should be able to. Due to my latest experiences with T-Mobile's customer service, I'm going to have to bump that up to a five instead of the two that I would had given it prior to my experiences these last few months. However, the service quality in general where I'm located isn't that great in some areas, and I'll go from having perfect service to not being able to get ANY calls out after traveling 4 miles away from the location I had perfect service at; however, this may have a lot to do with the way the buildings are constructed in this area, and the fact that I'm out in the sticks part of the time. I'm still on a 3G phone (Galaxy S Vibrant) because I haven't had a reason to upgrade, nor have I had the spare money to get the phone I want to upgrade to, but I'll be upgrading to a Galaxy S4 (one of the variants, with quite a bit of onboard memory for obvious reasons). Honestly, I can't find a way to give direct feedback to T-Mobile in regards to the person I had just spoken to, so if anyone here is able to and wishes to relay my feedback of Andrew E, I'd greatly appreciate it because people like him who are good at their job and do it right in a timely fashion deserve to be rewarded for their efforts. It seems T-Mobile is starting to slowly go in the right direction with customer care, and I hope they continue to improve and train new/old employees like Andrew. I'm a programmer on the side, and I develop an assortment of applications and some low-level stuff as well for various processing platforms, so I understand how stressful it can be to deal with a client or customer at times; people posting these reviews, please take your behavior into account as well, and the impression you leave on T-Mobile's employees because even though it shouldn't be this way, they're going to become jaded and it's going to result in bad customer service in general. A lot of these people are just trying to put food on the table, and they're still human just as you are, regardless of their association/employment with T-Mobile. Not to mention, the people you typically talk to on the phone aren't the ones that are settings the rules and regulations for trying to get every penny out of you they can, don't blame the customer support, blame the ones higher up calling the shots instead of directing that malice and frustration towards someone who's probably barely scraping by. Overall, I'm going to give T-Mobile's overall value a 3 until I continue to see improvements with customer care and phone service in general. Note: There's ways to get your price down to a comfortable point, and sites like these are great for finding information and tips on how to do so, so use whatever legal method you can to get your price down to a comfortable point.

Rubbish

Posted on: September 30th, 2013 by Sush Bagchi

I sent my phone for repair about a month ago. On the phone, the customer service guy said, I will be given a loan phone to use while my phone is getting repaired. When I took it to the nearest T-mobile EE shop, they just handed over a sim card adaptor and said they had no phones to lend. I tried going back again on another occasion, still no loan phones. I am in an expensive tariff plan. Now I am without a phone, have not used any free minutes or data. But will have to pay my bill of 37 odd pounds for nothing. Totally CRAP service if you ask me. The guy at the shop was also very cold. No apologies that it was taking so long. RUBBISH!!!

Customer care and supervisors are of now use. Worst service i am experiencing.

Posted on: September 29th, 2013 by Vaibhav Rathi

I had a monthly plan of 30$ and i made a 30$ recharge 3 days before, suddenly my plan was changed and when i had a talk with customer care first i had to wait for 1 hr and then they hung up the phone. Also the so called supervisor says that it was my mistake and i have to do a recharge of 30$ more. Supervisor was of no use and could not give me refund. Its a shitt!! I will share this with all my friends in college and will advice them not to use tmobile.

Do Not Use T-Mobile!

Posted on: September 29th, 2013 by Trisha Hyde

I live in Phoenix, and have very sporadic service! Every time I call I get the run around. Both of my smartphones stopped working and were replaced with refurbished versions that also do not work. TMobile will not help, nor will they take off the Data plan even though I can not use data. I can't get service in Las Vegas, Prescott, San Diego or Albuquerque. When I went to cancel today they told me that the policy states I must give 30 days notice for canceling service. Here is an idea, you must give me 30 days notice for CRAPPY service.

THIS COMPANY STINKS!

Posted on: September 28th, 2013 by Jersey Mason

THEY HUNG UP ON ME AND SAID NO REFUNDS SO THEY ARE KEEPING MY 500+ DOLLARS. I WAS ON THE PHONE FOR OVER AN HOUR! EVEN THE SUPERVISORS ARE RUDE AND WANT TO ARGUE WITH YOU INSTEAD OF TRYING TO HELP. I CAN'T USE MY MONEY ON MY ACCOUNT TO PAY FOR A PHONE. THAT IS THE DUMBEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD!!!!

BEWARE TMOBILE MATH

Posted on: September 27th, 2013 by Rocksann Thompson

We were with TMobile for over 2 years. The service was sketchy at best if we left our home area. Customer service was hit or miss. But mostly, their billing SUCKS. The bill was never the same thing even though we had the same number of lines and never exceeded our minutes or data usage. A few times when I called to check my bill I was hit with $400+ bills. I was told these were past due bills. EXCUSE ME?!?! My phone has never been turned off for non-payment. I paid whatever the automated system said I owed each month. This amount always matched what the paper bill said. When I asked customer service they gave me some kinda hoodoo voodoo math and story that this amount was from the beginning of the contract and they had failed to bill me. Whatever, I paid it. Then it happened 3 months later. If not for the fact that my husband was deployed to Afghanistan and TMobile is one of the only companies in my area that offer international texting I would have told them to get bent then. Finally, when my husband made it home and I called to disconnect the service I asked what I owed through the date of disconnection. I paid the stated amount. Then 2 months later I get a bill for another $48 but when I called the automated system it said I owed $74. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I OWE HOW CAN I POSSBILY KNOW. I AM NOT IN TOUCH WITH THE TMOBILE GODS. Once again I get a story of late payment. WHAT FREAKING LATE PAYMENT? Over a 3 month period I paid you $800 in supposed late payments..... once again I state my phone NEVER DISCONNECTED for non-payment. I paid the $74 to keep this from going against our credit but I spoke with customer service again. They have assured me that I owe no more money and that I will receive a paid in full statement from them. When I do I am framing that thing and will wait with baited breath to see if I get a bill next month. Lord help that customer service person if I do. SICK OF THEIR TMobile math.
