The OnePlus Nord lineup of devices is growing quickly, with two new models recently announced just a few months after the original Nord. And now a new leak says that OnePlus has another Nord variant in the works.
OnePlus Nord SE is reportedly the name of a new device that's currently expected to launch in early 2021. Sources speaking to Android Central say that while an exact release date isn't set yet, the OnePlus Nord SE is likely to launch shortly after the OnePlus 9's announcement in March 2021.
One of the highlight features of the OnePlus Nord SE is Warp Charge 65. This 65W fast charging first appeared on the new OnePlus 8T and is much faster than the 30W fast charging offered with the OnePlus Nord and Nord N10 5G.
The OnePlus Nord SE is also said to include a Snapdragon 765G, just like the original Nord. Also expected to be included is an AMOLED screen and a 4500mAh battery. The device is reportedly codenamed "Ebba".
Today's report says that the OnePlus Nord SE will be a budget-focused model, but it's got some nice upgrades over the affordable Nord N10 5G and Nord N100 that were announced last month. Unfortunately, it's expected that the Nord SE will not be coming to the US, with releases planned only for the EU and India. For folks in those regions, though, the Nord SE could be a device to keep an eye on early next year.
