A yearly tradition with the launch of new iPhone models is getting details on their RAM and battery sizes as that's not info that Apple typically shares. We've already gotten the RAM info for all four iPhone 12 models, and now we've got their battery sizes, too.
Regulatory body TENAA, which is like China's equivalent of the FCC, has revealed that the iPhone 12 Pro battery is 2815mAh while the iPhone 12 Pro Max's battery measures in at 3687mAh. Both are smaller than the batteries in last year's iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max, which had batteries that were 3046mAh and 3969mAh, respectively.
Meanwhile, TENAA says that the iPhone 12 mini battery comes in at 2227mAh, confirming a recent leak. The agency also says that the iPhone 12 battery is 2851mAh but that's likely a typo that's meant to be 2815mAh, as that figure came out last week and has also been confirmed today by an iPhone 12 teardown.
Last year's iPhone 11 has a 3110mAh battery. There is no iPhone 11 mini model to compare the iPhone 12 mini to, but the iPhone SE (2nd gen) has an 1821mAh battery.
